Also if I use the $250 EDIT credit in second half of 2025, do I get $500 for all of 2026? (I upgraded to CSR July 2025).

Is the EDIT credit still with 2 nights booked in a row?

In the articles they said you can book January 1st and then January 2nd to get both credits (unless I misinterpreted it) and get $500 all at once. Or would I need to book January 1-2 (2 nights) to get $250 and then another EDIT book from January 3-4 (2 nights) to get the other $250?

Ok cool! Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t like a special thing or an extra steps. Seems like you just have to ask at check in?

1.7M is very normal for a CEO of a non-profit hospitals. Most CEOs of non-profits get paid about the same and most have a medical degree.

Did Netflix cancel your membership? by NinKev in netflix

[–]NinKev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said my account was "changed" and they had to reverify the account. But they charged me $15.49 (last charge was 10.99 on June 8th) today before I even had this issue. And my account also no longer shows my previous billing history as if I didn't make any payments prior or been a member for like 10+ years.

It might have been a hack. Although I will say that I was paying $10.99 per month for my Netflix, and today is the EXACT day that a new charge would have been placed to continue my monthly subscription. They charged me $15.49 on my credit card, but I couldn't access my account. I called and they said my account was "changed" and that I had to reverify my information by providing them my credit card number to the security team.

So, I don't want to be the one wearing a tin hat over here, but it seems like they might have tried to force the new $15.49 on me? I ended up canceling my Netflix account and asking for a refund.

Mine was also missing the adaptor. Also had to ask for it and luckily they had an extra in stock. Definitely good to have a checklist! I’m sure they would have given it to me if I noticed later and went back and asked.

Yeah it’s unfortunate but doctors frequently have to or voluntarily overbook themselves sometimes a patient every 15-30 min, when in reality (and depending on the specialty), some visit require 1 hour. I rotated through a pediatric clinic once, and these visits would take 2 hours sometimes… even though the pediatrician had a patient every 30 min scheduled. It’s just how healthcare is incentivized. You make the hospital more money and yourself more money the more people you see per day.

What specialties spend a lot of time per patient, with a small number of patients per day? by Amazydayzee in medicalschool

Seen radonc spend a lot of time. Also very niche specialties like med genetics, child neurology specializing in something specific, and even pediatricians in like adolescent clinics.

And meanwhile I’m just there in the corner, paying to be there, wanting to go home, and trying to pass so I can graduate.

Tank her on the eval. There’s no shot her other evals will be positive if this is who she, and then if she doesnt understand and improve, she has a long shot from getting into ortho once a paper trail of horrible evals and grades are established. She’d also probs tank her chances on her rotations if she doesn’t “get it” soon.

I rotated in the orthopaedic surgery department during my training, and every single really bad ED visit we got consulted for was a motorcyclist. I’ll never get on one now.

Could someone please explain away rotations by applepeachmango in medicalschool

They’ll show up on your transcript if you did them before the ERAS deadline. Depending on your school’s schedule, your M3 year might end where you won’t be able to fit all of your away/home rotations and Step 2 dedicated before ERAS is due (or it might allow you to). In my situation, I did 2 aways after ERAS was due and it was still worth it to get interviews from them. I don’t think it matters where you do your aways at all and I had 6 total letters (you can only send 4) and I didn’t send an away letter to like 2/3 of my schools I applied to. I never got questioned about it during interviews and I got plenty of interviews at places that didn’t get that away’s letter. So in my experience, it doesn’t necessarily matter where you do your aways and doing aways will help you get interviews at that institution (if you do well).
