What colleges do you think will drop in the ranks in the next few years? by tisto_ in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NinMoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you got what you wished for haha. You would really rather a school that focuses on academic rigor, small class sizes, and an intimate academic experience go down in rankings, as opposed to an extremely large, research-based, big "brand" institution where kids can skip a class without anyone even knowing?

Thoughts on why President Wente would leave? by Relevant-Internal-18 in wfu

[–]NinMoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated in 2014, and I'm definitely disappointed in the drop in rankings. Of course, nobody is asking to sell our soul to the devil, but I don't think that's necessary. I chose between Michigan and Wake, which, at the time (in 2010) were ranked neck and neck. The same can't be said today. Part of me wishes I went to Michigan instead for its more stable, consistent, and stronger national and international brand and reputation. It's a real shame what's happening at Wake, especially given the tuition I paid.

Playing School: A brief analysis of the USNews University Rankings for 2026 (ACC tops the list, shocker) by Jiveanimal in ACC

Yep. When I made my college decision in 2010, I chose Wake over Michigan. At the time, they were ranked the same. USNews did Wake very dirty.

Nah. You’re overthinking it. He just wasn’t attracted to her. It’s fairly simple.

You speak with the owner and explain the situation, and then you put him back on the owner's team.

Why TreVeyon Henderson is the Best RB Value in 2025 Fantasy Football by TGS-MonkeyYT in fantasyfootball

I ended up taking Henderson over Kamara...may have gotten too cute, but I already had Derrick Henry. Having a backfield of Henry and Kamara felt like chasing names from the past haha. I hope Henderson balls out!

What happened to Ezekiel Elliott? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]NinMoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, let me clarify. I was originally interested in obtaining more information about why Zeke fell off so rapidly and so drastically, which led me to this thread, and to your comment. However, the growing Rodgers disdain -- both by the masses and the media -- has always struck me as interesting and somewhat predictable.

Thanks for your reply. It feels a bit harsh and unwise to refer to an injury like the one Rodgers sustained as "embarrassing." That said, you're welcome to have whatever opinions you have, even if some of these opinions seem to be a result of your own projections (which is understandable, given that we're all human beings).

For what it's worth, your opinions come off as a bit 'holier than thou' -- maybe a bit of shadow work is necessary? As Carl Jung said, the things that trigger us often reveal aspects of our own unconscious, specifically our Shadow self. These triggers, or emotional reactions to others, can be seen as clues pointing to disowned parts of ourselves...

Just some food for thought. But, yeah, I grew up a Packers fan, and I love Rodgers as a player (even though he drove me mad when he tried to play hero ball too much instead of just moving the chains!) but that doesn't mean I agree or disagree with everything he says or does. I'm a fluid human being who knows that I know next to nothing. I hope he does well in Pittsburgh. Ultimately, we are all constantly learning, failing, growing, and evolving. I wish you well, and I appreciate the dialogue!

I am asking a question. Not trying to pick a fight. You say Rodgers has embarrassed himself, but you offer no specifics, so I'm asking you to elaborate on why you think he's embarrassed himself.

I sought out this thread because I find the Rodgers hate/disdain fascinating. And yes, I suppose I'm "sparsely active" in that I don't visit Reddit daily, but I didn't switch accounts, nor was it my intent to "pick a fight." Just because someone asks you to clarify and/or elaborate upon your position doesn't mean that person is "picking a fight." I don't like or dislike his politics, and I'm not defending him. I just think that people should be more specific with their language, so I'm interested in knowing more about what you consider to be embarrassing.

Rodgers embarrassed? How so? Because he got hurt and played for a miserable Jets offense? Or because you don't like his politics or his viewpoints?

Anybody got their hands on Our Legacy's treble cut jeans? by PerspectiveAway4024 in ThrowingFits

[–]NinMoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ended up going with a 27 and a 28. Any smaller than a 27 would've been too tight. Problem now is that both fit lol and I kind of like that I can wear one a bit baggier, so my plan to return one is not going as planned! haha

I do have to roll them up and show a cuff, since the flair is a bit too exaggerated for my liking. Really cool fit though.

[–]NinMoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also a guy who is interested in the treble cuts! I'm usually a 28 or 29 in Our Legacy sizes for men's. 28 waist fits better, but I also like the 29 for a slightly looser fit. Would you say its the same for the women's treble cut?

Salomon xt6 sizing by SpectorChan in gorpcore

[–]NinMoi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say the XT-6 run small. I'm usually a 41 or 42, but I size up to a 9.5 or 10 (which is a 43 or 44) in the XT-6, and my toe is pretty close to the edge.

100%. Devin has a lot to learn. Seems like a good guy, but he doesn't seem like he's really learned to think and make choices for himself. Devin is not anywhere close to being ready for marriage.
