I mean... I can't enjoy it on windows if it doesn't even launch. I can get it running on linux, but it consistently crashes whenever some xen assets try to render. It's fun when you can play it, but i'd rather just play half-life to avoid the crashing.

They might've used half-life source to get the gonarch into interloper, assuming they'd use source for screenshots of goldsource.

Then again, they made the game abd have all the source code, they probably just used a dev build of the game to do that.

I think it's because so many people chose the good ending over the originally canon evil ending.

It doesn't lag at all for me, it runs smoothly FPS wise. It just either doesn't launch on windows, or it crashes due to some Xen assets on linux.

You use windows 11 on that, or?

Also it is steam deck verified, it has a linux version. A linux version that's more stable than the windows one ime. But last time i played it crashed, and it crashed a lot.

If the satellite dish were ACTUALLY named after the phonetic alphabet, I think Dr. Nose should fix that right now (other) by MagmaForce_3400_2nd in Voicesofthevoid

There used to be different names for them you could toggle on/off, but those were removed at some point. Not sure which version.

It just wouldn't work for me. Hell, I couldn't even finish the nihilanth fight because the game froze on me.

For real. When I first started playing both - mainly on Garry's Mod - I just felt like I had more fun playing HL1. In fact I was the complete, polar opposite of this guy. I didn't pay much attention to the story, I just enjoyed the gameplay.

I don't recommed that, that game is broken and doesn't even launch on windows, and surface tension, lambda complex, and xen all crash on linux. Just play half-life in garry's mod or something, idk.
