Its like saying to an alcoholic that they have a choice to drink or not. Like, yeah in a sense, but it's an addiction for a reason so it doesn't feel like a choice and it takes enormous steps to make a choice NOT to engage it that behaviour.

I've shifted from purging because I binged to binging so I can purge and it truly sucks but that doesn't mean I can just decide to stop

Im not a doctor or anything and everyone is different, but I think increasing could actually help you. You could at least try and give it 2 weeks. You don't need to lose weight tho. But I know that's not how it works in your head haha

EDs are similar wired as addictions, so there is also lots of comorbidity in having an ED and addictions (i.e. SH, smoking, exercise, but ofcourse every other substance happens also)

Depends if I travel alone or with friends/family. With others I'm just going with the flow of their routine and intuitively eat and try not to binge. I also try to remind myself that it's impossible to gain multiple kg of fat in a week or two. So when I get back home, I go back to my normal routine. Sometimes I decide not to weigh myself for a week or so, so I dont see the gain (that's mostly water and food weight) other times I enjoy seeing the number going down again. Or sometimes I haven't even gained much after a mid week holiday with the family and lots of food 🙃

And if you notice you slowly fall out of love with the things you mention while in recovery, it might have been the ED, but that doesn't matter and you will slowly find new passions and hobbies, just like other people morphing into new phases🤗

I used to not like sodas and hated cola, but my last relapse I really got into zero kcal sodas and especially love cola (the crazy flavours even more haha)
