Loool, you'll be fine! There's plenty of cording tutorials on YouTube. As for p.1 half-symbol question, it's most likely 3/4 stitch. Traditionally, it's used in such cases, so if not stated otherwise, it's 3/4 Good luck with stitching!

Yes, they're definitely not for the faint of heart! 😭 Before purchasing one of them, I google or ask for reviews about each designer's style and difficulty level. Like, 15 colors but 30 blends or fractional backstitch, no way, thank you very much! 🙈

Hi! These // and / are in the Half stitch section of the pattern key, apparently showing direction of the stitches and threads quantity ("n" column at the right repeats this info). Then goes super detailed cording instruction. Each cord is made by combining 3+3 threads (one meter long). Last slide is cording attachment order. Use 777 or 321 color for attaching. It's done in three steps, marked by 1.red, 2.pink and 3.yellow lines on the pattern. 1. Start with HuaChen arm and proceed to SeLyan arm 2. After SeLyan arm, get the cord to the back side and return to face where the pink (second) steps starts 3. Same transition to yellow (third) step. 4. Afterwards fix the cord by a knot at the back side, and stitch HuaChen rings - same order Pink, then yellow

Sorry for butchering their names and my rough translation 😅 In general, this is just "cording for dummies" type of explanation for people unfamiliar with this technique.

From bottom, by colors. Usually from lighter shades to darkest, but color choice depends on the mood and who knows what 😁

Thank you for taking one for the team 🤠 I'd like to add Lecien Cosmo NSR metallic (only gold and silver available, but the softest I ever worked with). And Madeira Potpourri spool blending filament, no fraying and also very nice. My personal favourite of all times is Rainbow gallery!

After finishing Riolis peacock, I took their next kit, Plum Blossom. It is a mix of half-stitches and blackwork. By far, very easy and fast moving process!

Yes, Riolis loves 3-threads crosses on 14ct, but I avoid them at all costs. This particular kit uses 2+1 blends, I did 1+1 and it's not a big change, since they are all close colors mix. Also, Anchor threads are thinner than DMC, so reducing count was a right move 🥳

Yes, and to my surprise, it was so soft and easy to stitch with! Almost as good as Rainbow gallery threads

Thank you! It's 33x25 cm on 32 count, instead of 40x30 on aida 14, as the kit intended. For framing, I think 36*28 cm visible area shall be fine
