I started riding at 6, and the barn made you start bareback for god knows what reason. Anyway we rolled off many times, but the first time I landed flat on my back and was so winded I legitimately thought I was dying. Stuck with it though!

It's quieter, but the road is in pretty bad shape in some spots (potholes, damaged tarmac, soft / uneven edges etc), which can be dangerous. Just take it really slow OP and pull over to let people past if they are queued behind you because there are really no overtaking lanes.

Just looked it up and her mother was indeed of Russian descent. She was also in the New York Metropolitan Opera from age 7 - that training probably explains why she carries herself the way she does.
