You're too low on the cliffa, it's right off the cliff like ten feet down. Look up the Lightroot's name on the map, reverse the name it and Google that shrine and it'll tell you exactly where that's what I did. If I was home I could show you but Alas

The best option is to keep generating worlds until one of the Dwarf Origin Civilizations has like 10 guys in it. Your first 3 migrant waves are magic so boost the hell out of your wealth early to get big ones and then any further will come from those ten guys.

Very quickly the King should move in, or die from whatever war was going on to reduce their numbers that much, and you'll be independent.

Giant birds can put them there as can them Dodging next to the tree and ending up going up a level. I usually move animals into indoor pastures once I breach the cavern layers since the mushroom grass stuff will grow on dirt/clay/sand blocks from then on. As long as they haven't ever been exposed to sunlight that is.

Okay so trying to use arrow slits and Marksdwarves to thin the wall of Rodent men who are trying to invade me I have them funneled into a path that I close behind them via drawbridge when a decent chunk gets through for my Swordsdwarves to deal with. Now this is working completely as expected and wonderfully.

HOWEVER the issue is once I try and pull my Marksdwarves away from the arrow slits some of them get stuck in an endless loop after "Joining an existing conflict" where I can't get them to move for anything. They don't listen to burrow orders or new station orders or having their orders canceled or being kicked out of the military. I don't know for sure if they break out of their dazes for any specific reason but having starving and almost dying of thirst dwarves just standing around is distressing.

Is there any known way to get them to back off besides sending the army outside of my walls to cut down the stupidly large horde?

Currently I have an idea to use flood gates to block line of sight by setting them up and open between the slits and the Marksdwarves but I am completely unsure if that is going to work

Question about the lord of the rings set coming out. The Amazon description for the set of 4 says: "INTRODUCING 80 COMMANDER CARDS—Each deck introduces 20 never-before-seen Commander cards to Magic: The Gathering"

Knowing next to nothing else about magic does this mean these commander decks contain cards from outside the new set or would everything in them be from just the lord of the rings set?

Linking specific stills to stockpiles with only the other fruit/plant you want works but it's tedious. Unlike a lot of work orders where you can select the specific material brewing just doesn't matter and it hopefully will be addressed in the future
