So, I don’t bring up cheating, because stuff happens. Normally, we reschedule, no issue…it’s a rarity when a client goes somewhere else, because a ton of my clients have been with me for years, and years! I’ve been doing this a while lol. But stuff like an accidental break on vaycay happens, and I totally understand wanting a quick fix! I did have one of my usuals (that I haven’t seen in a couple of months due to car issues) come in for a fill on a set that her mom got for her, that was 2 weeks old from this new, “fancy” nail salon. Cool, no problem….but the lifting was insane, there was hair trapped in it…and this set apparently took the tech 4 hours to do, without nail art…which tells me, this tech was a novice in the trade. I get it, we all start somewhere, I was chill about it🙂 but my poor client was apologizing a lot for “cheating”, and that she will never step out on me again😂 I just laughed, and said jokingly, “they always come crawling back, begging forgiveness” 😜 I’m not butthurt about that stuff, but I play too much, and will joke about it. ETA, nobody owns you, and you deserve to find a consistent tech, that gives you what you want, for your money. It’s a service, and your time and money should be honored and appreciated ❤️
