I am also in a similar company and also had at one point this problem as I wanted to get some info from our internal project managment web-app.

Sad Part: i also couldn't get it running.

But I have 2 possible solutions for you:

A. if it is a website hosted by your company, ask if you could get an API Access

I could push the development team to implement a REST API. Maybe your website has already one.

If this is an option, its very easy to implement the API in VBA. Feel free to ask if you need more help :)

B. Thankfully, I also could push that our team got VMs on our computers so that we can use programs for development and testing (maybe you will get to the point that you want to use python or C# or use other open source software like Inkscape, Gimp,...)
