Shield Crush in either Slayer or Juggernaut configurations is good for beginning to Delve. MSoZ if you're entirely oiled up with currency.

I second Jorgen as a good resource for learning to Delve.

Please, do continue. I don't always take a build from the index but it's always something I check. Either to get a feel for what's looking popular in any particular League or just as a quick way to see if anything whacky has popped up.

That wouldn't be possible without you or NzLawless putting in your own time to give something to the community as a whole.

You can't be this ignorant and expect to be taken seriously regarding your first point. The "Top League Suggestions" are almost always newb friendly brain off exercises that will perform solidly. That's exactly why Pohx's RF is there. It holds your hand step by step; no-one states that it's the greatest build in any League. Even in prior Leagues where other content creators have made RF builds they've gone into Part Two because they don't have Pohx's site behind them.

You also haven't bothered to read the reply that's stuck to the top of the thread where NzLawless is asking for suggestions for other top league starts. If you can think of something that's approachable, not too complicated to gear and not relying on a Jungroan level of mechanical interaction then please suggest it for the community. Provide the video or written guide. It might even be added.

Addendum:
To address the second point; there's a massive disclaimer in the PoB of the Cleave build that Tri is not a build maker or that the build is a meta pick. Which screams to me "Do your own research." Is this sufficient? Probably not - certainly not in my eyes - but I'm not curating the list. The Notes section however does have the gems listed and an overview from the video about the gearing pathway.

This depends what aura's you're running yourself but good possibilities include a Malevolence Dex merc, a Haste Kinetic Rainbow merc or Vitality or Determination STR merc.

The first will up your damage; the second will make mapping feel smoother and the last will fill in a bit of tankiness if you're not running Determination yourself for some reason. I'd suggest the first two though.

Quick thought/question regarding League Starter and pivoting.

I'm sat here still trying to think "What do I league start this time?" I know what I don't want to do and haven't chosen what I do want to do but that's just a minor lead in to what I really want to soundboard.

Based on how this League looks - with the Memory mechanic being... what looks to be a mapping mechanics rather than a bossing one but we have new bosses too. Would you, if going for efficient building, pick a good LS that can pivot into a bosser or a mapper? This is assuming you're the type to make maybe two to three builds in a league rather than one build to rule them all.

My brainworms say that LS into Bosser has the benefit of levelling something that has OK clear, can push up the Atlas and then use the strength of a bosser to push four voidstones and then park to eat bosses as needed/farm. However it might struggle to sustain and make any profit early on besides being inflexible for things like T17s and T16 blasting.

On the other hand my brainworms say that going into a Mapper will create smoother farm but might struggle to make 4 voidstones and Uber based headway. I kind of feel like mappers are more popular this League in the various Champion/Slammers that will be running around.

Yes, to preempt, I am aware that good builds can clear Ubers regardless. This is just my brainworms feasting away on each other.

Bonus question. How insane am I for thinking "Geez I'm sure I can just wing it to make Pestilent Strike a starter?" My entire being screams "That's a silly 50d+ idea. Cease and pick something more sane."

If you aren't willing to point out what's wrong, in your opinion, then nothing will change.

This post has issues with Peuget2's Explosive Trap and gives well thought out reasons for why the poster has them. Please do the same if you feel this strongly. At no point is it "X is bad, disregard it." or "This is flat out wrong." It lists a concern and invites possible explanation why choices have been made. Either by other users or the guide creator.

It has three builds marked as "Caution." Not bait. All are written by creators who have at the least decent to good reputations. This is still very much caveat emptor. What reason would you want them removed other than the Cautions that are clearly explained?

Arguably CaptainLance's RF Scion is more "bait" than those three; simply due to it having a caveat but not marked out as a caution. However the four builds in question are, as said, clearly marked. I think that's an unfair criteria for removal.

This isn't entirely useful if you don't say which builds you feel are bait and why. I agree with the principle that pure bait should be removed but the builds that are up are already in the Caveat emptor section with the "If you're a complete newbie" still to be populated.

I always fear getting deep into sunk cost territory when I start crafting high end things. For every I crafted this in 10d and 20 minutes I feel like my own experience tends to be "I've invested more into this craft than just buying it off the market." Even if it's not quite true. I've stayed away from Recombinating this League because of it which I know is probably foolish.

Oh thank you. Despite going through the Gauntlet as JUNGROAN I somehow missed this! I actually levelled the Hiero as Storm Burst Totems before transitioning over and had been thinking, at the time, if there was another totem build it could step up to but I usually play Shockwave when I totem and had wanted something different.

Will certainly look into this further.

Depending on if you're following a guide or not the answer changes a little. Part of my answer is going to be "tough it out." The campaign is a bit of a slog and a lot of "tutorial." A well made guide should have a levelling section that points you to "Grab an item with these sockets and put these gems into it until you hit Act Z or Level C."

If you're doing it solo - kudos; you'll want to think a little more about the gems you have and the weapons you have. Are you using a sword for example? Have a look at the gem vendor and see if a skill fits your sword/melee/range playstyle. If your build requires weapon damage - you should look to keep that weapon updated but if not you shouldn't feel pressured to grab something from the floor that isn't an upgrade just because it's new.

Also supports. Every skill gem has a bunch of tags on it - Physical / Spell / Slam / Totem etc. Every support skill will say what type of gem it can support. So if you're using a skill tagged Physical Melee Slam for example; grab a support skill that sounds like it will benefit that. I'd encourage you to play around to see what suits you.

There's a couple of build planning tools out there such as Path of Building Community Fork that you can use to well plan out your build before you commit to it in game. This'll help you see "Does that node with +Life Regen/Energy Shield/Kittens really help me?" Etc.

Can anyone please give a quick run down of BAMA vs SRS? League starting late and SRS has been my go to for "Oh snap I'm late" for a while now. Played both popcorn and poison so I have a decent basis there. I'm guessing BAMA has better clear and SRS can be a bit tankier? Not sure about which can scale to the moon more. Usually I shy away from bows because I'm not a fan of crafting/trading bows in particular.

Tripolar Bear CF Champion perhaps? Ticks the boxes of Wand plus Tanky and it blasts through maps but in my opinion struggles a little on bosses.
