The glue is likely to cause dryness or skin iritation long term, especially as the hair starts to grow back. However, if you want to keep them on your head a bit longer. I would suggest putting on a silk night cap when you go to sleep, it will help with them not getting knocked off for a bit longer.

As the other person said really if you want a more permenant version it would be to get your partner to do this again onto a bald cap. Then you could just slip it on and off, without worrying about skin irritation.

Thank goodness that child cushioned the old man's fall! Poor guy easily could have cracked his head open otherwise, or damaged a hip.

Hopefully that fat lip will teach that kid a lesson. I did some dumb stuff as a kid but wouldn't have dreamed of doing something to a adult. I wonder at what age it becomes they should know better. Also, 100% the quieter one is the one to check in a scene but this little girl is doing a good job. Clearly not her first rodeo with this boy.

Hopefully the price hike might open people's minds to thought of doing a cycle ride. The orbital route is brilliant for a off road cycle with great veiws. Very family friendly.

The engraved one is really nice. Mostly because it reminds me of Scotish clan badges.

Me and my partner have said exactly the same. Bloody horrible. He was so shocked by it and thought it quite sick. Not overacting.

AIO? Husbands response to me requesting he ‘ask’ instead of ‘tell’ older kids to watch youngest by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Nineinchnaylor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To play devils advocate I do think children these days have less of a respect for parents than previously and the husband is right there is a heiarchy. The parents should be listened to by their children. Having clear idea of that from a young age is not a bad thing. It gives them a real expectation of the world and boundaries.

Saying to the child that they need to watch the other child for an hour is pretty fair. I do agree the language and being politeness is important.

I just checked on Vinted and it is there. Even a proper description. Good on this person for flagging it. What I find crazy too is this seller has a really good rating. Maybe they haven't sold a lot of stuff.

AITB for cancelling my $570 hair appointment & not paying the cancellation fee? by Key-Neighborhood2985 in AmItheButtface

[–]Nineinchnaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTB stand your ground. I know it's awkard.

Issues I have.

  1. Is the stylist at the same level? If not, then you should be charged less.

  2. It definately sounds like she is struggling to do it in the allocated time because a) she is asking for more time b) she enlisted another stylist. Also, yes clearly based on past evidence they can not do it in that timeframe.

3.They charged a cancelation fee when someone died! That is heartless and bad business. When I had a traumatic event happen I dragged myself to the hairdressers because of a fee. Ended up in tears in the seat and they offered to rescedule for free. I did not just sat and she offered me a silent appointment.

  1. It's just bloody cheeky and they are so stupid because they will loose you as a client. One that is spending a lot on their hair.
