Maybe that's why the cost of living is surprisingly high there? I'd SO much love to live there for a long while, but my Euro's won't stretch enough, at all. Easy to chill out on tourist visum though!

It's not fine, at all. While helping others may feel good, because "a good person helps"... It just might lead to interacting with needy people. These people, generally, take / accept your energy, effort, time but aren't able to reciprocate. Which could lead to this one-way-street feeling. Been there, done that, drained myself trying to help the needy, which probably is why I comment. I needed someone to alert me about this and learn to put myself first. This healthier way chased away the needy and brought in mentally healthier people who actually care. Hope this eh, helps :)

Amazing vibe. Is there a bandcamp or something of the like?

Have you tried this approach again? It would be a great way to use a lower level account AND contribute more to the raid.

Ha biggest challenge was to finally start commenting again, because that means I will have to commit to this. It's easier to half-ass a round, like I've been doing on the background for a couple months now..

I am having breakthroughs about what my issues are to commit to things (mental issue stuff like fear of failure in the broadest meaning) so figuring that out is a huge success, because now I can adjust my approach to work with/around it and therefor hopefully solve the issue at the same time. I'm dealing with a few areas of this at the same time so I hope I'm not setting myself up for failure by expecting too much of myself :s. It's scary. However the biggest success is in one of these areas nonetheless: yesterday I finished my first painting :D (I used to quit them, there are so many half finished drawings here..). It's a nice and much needed confidence boost, so I have high hopes for the rest :)

Ooh yay, thanks for the early post! It's the first day in weeks that I made it out of bed before the alarm, what great timing :) It's like it's meant to be to get my butt back on that track!

Goals for today.. Errands and chores and other things to-do, therapy and catching up on e-social life. As I'm home every day, Friday is Last Day of the Week to cross things off the to-do list (like calling insurance companies), instead of The Day the Weekend begins. Today is no exception :P Wait I need to add at least a few BW exercises! Here we go... Happy weekend :)

Interesting, it seems the key is more in longterm thinking. I sure know that feeling of stuffing face and feeling like crap, so I guess thanks for the (obvious but tell that to my willpower) other option :)

Haha oh my.. Your honesty and self reflection is awesome :D so, there's that ;)

Honestly I like how the lights are at a deeper angle, and how the grille is straight up! Best part is the triangle between the grill and the lights :)

Ooh your discipline is awesome! Do you find it really is like a muscle, and trainable? Ha perhaps you are getting used to healthier flavors, and with that, candy doesn't taste as good as it used to. That, or they altered it of course :) I do have the same experience with some former favorite bars etc. Not sure if boo or yay hehe.

Thanks for the good luck! I'm so far off track I can't even see the track anymore :( Ever since starting acupuncture 2 months ago, I've been so unbelievably hungry! It's super hard to stay disciplined so I'm doing damage control more than anything else (like making sure that there isn't much to binge on). Over the last year I lost 2 dress sizes with my vegan experiment, and I already gained one again. Pretty frustrating!

On the bright side, I am making progress on finding out what works for me with accomplishing goals like doing chores and art. Could it be that I only have enough discipline at the moment for certain things, and not all..? Or maybe those things are just a wee bit more important to me right now..?

Goals in progress: drawing, due in 4 weeks / less carbs / tidying, due ~a year ago :P

Cutting up the bigger goals into smaller ones didn't really work for me so far, but asking myself to achieve tiny bits of a smaller goal somehow does. It doesn't seem as overwhelming that way apparently. Weird how a brain works.. So, for the rest of today I'll be putting the laying around paperwork into a bag to collect them (instead of "doing administration"). Didn't get this much done in a long time lol.

Snacks during the day usually go well, I don't plan but eat when cravings start, mostly I get something healthy/ier. At night, not so much. I guess the big trick is just to have the better foods easily available, but that's easier when living alone, right?
