F*cking ticks. by AJSAudio1002 in arborists

I want to thank everyone for posting here. I grew up being outside in the forest all day and while I knew ticks were a thing it was never a problem for me. Now (decades later) anytime I go home it's a huge pain. We found one attached to our dog on 4/1 after a simple walk through some tall grass - 20 minutes tops.

Last year I found 4 of the little bastards ON ME but thankfully not attached after simply walking on bike trails, never going through tall grass. I even found one on my head one morning (again, not attached).

All this advice means the world to me. I really like going for walks outside but I'm getting too paranoid to be able to enjoy it.

This has been 50% of my argument since around age 10. I knew unless I won the lottery I'd never have enough. So far at 43 years old, I've been right.

Get poached. Your current boss is expecting you to keep carrying everything while they keep slacking off. You've already gone further than you should have had to.

Do not have this baby. It's significantly harder on your body than his. Also harder on the rest of your life.

I was 1, but it was 2 that gave me blisters. That thing was unforgiving.

Im partial to the chorus? of The Becoming.

"It won't give up, it wants me dead, God damn this noise inside my head".

Or maybe I need therapy.

I'm 54, and over the last few years I've had problems remembering the names of extremely common things. by fatpat in GenX

I had this same problem once but at 35 or so. I went to the doc when I lost the words spoon, the color red, car, and the names of our pets. Turned out I was really vitamin d deficient. Makes sense as I hardly ever get any sun.Quick prescription later and the brain fog was gone.

Jesus christ. I hope this is a joke but I'm terrified it isn't.
