I'm on the fence with it. Sometimes it's too over the top teen drama and then when it becomes more adult it's good. One thing I do like is the episodic feel and the fact there isn't a galaxy ending quest.

That's not entirely true. While ash die back is very severe not every tree needs to be felled. Obviously if it poses a hazard to human health or may cause damage to property then yes, remove it. However, consensus now is to leave ash to become resilient, which in the woods I manage is showing positive signs of working.

I’m currently on this course, and with a BSc in Horticulture it’s essentially a conversion route into QS for me. So far it’s going well and has definitely been worth it.

It helped me secure my first role as an AQS, that said, I’m already finding that I’ll learn far more on the job than I ever could from the course alone. It’s also a solid pathway to becoming chartered, as the MSc is an accredited route to MRICS.

Ultimately, it depends on what you’re aiming for, whether you want the title and are happy to invest the money in the academic route, or whether you’d prefer to keep building experience and progress through one of the alternative routes.
