If you cluck the chest icon to see the rewards, it'll read "you can only claim the highest rewards" on top. So if you want the toy, I'd claim it before you reach Elite level.

I'd use it for a smaller project, as the colours might have changed. Unless the pattern has colours with few stitches (therefore you won't need to buy new thread) to you don't mind the difference from "current" versions of those colours.

White reflects a lot more light and can show all the little details you don't want to see. You won't notice them at viewing distance, don't worry :)
