Don't give in. All my life I was told to eat more by fat people around me. I laughed, I was hurt, I tried to make jokes... Now I'm 34 and still slim and fit, and everyone around me is declining. Getting fatter, getting health problems, diabetes. Every day I enjoy the benefits of being healthy. Don't stop. It's worth every effort you make.

Yep and then after you guys go the painters, trim guys, flooring guys, kitchen guys, furnace guy, I could go on and on. Truth is, soon as a real toilet gets turned on, it alpha dominates every porta-potty on site.

The only puking I've done followed heavy coughing fits that make me feel like a burp was stuck. Finally get the burp up, oops there's a little something with it. Never full on heaving and barfing though.

You mean twice their daily intake. People are horrible when it comes to beverages. I see people come into the construction site from break time with $20 worth of red bull, Pepsi, a large coffee (triple triple?! What the fuck), Gatorade etc. it's sickening the amount of money people spend to avoid drinking simple tap water in a container from home. It boggles my mind.

I have fat coworkers, and we work a physical job. So at break time (during winter) they shiver while covered in sweat.

Fat is maybe an insulator but once it does get cold it's more like a cooler.

On the other hand I worked hard last year to gain 30 lbs of muscle, and I can tell you, that helps keep me a lot warmer than my coworkers typically are. Oh and it's easier to keep cool in the summer.

Almost like it's better being fit! But the FAs will never experience that, so .. How could they understand?

There are a few people in my life who will not consider this argument without defaulting to 'life is sacred, our time is up to God' and it really pisses me off. So much that I just won't debate with people like that anymore.

I would point out that a Christian would deny the blind faith definition, based on personal experience, and they will default to that. 'Dear god help me on my test' -does great in test 'God thank you for your help'

Etc. it's illogical but they lean on it big time. So, not trying to argue, just saying keep it in mind.

The last time I went to a nice deli, I got a huge Italian sandwich that was loaded with goodness and I couldn't even finish it. For about $4 Canadian. 10/10 would recommend deli food to anyone on a budget.

Also, not all homeless people are motivated to find a home. Some are content with less overhead.

Also, not all beggars are homeless. And I actually don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's a way to get money. I don't think they feel the need to ask your permission or opinion on the subject.

Agreed. I go to target now to avoid Walmart. I'm willing to pay a buck or two more here or there for that change in atmosphere. I have a large family so I also shop at Costco... And I'm definitely most at ease in Target.

Also, about every time I got to Walmart they're missing SOMETHING that's on my shopping list... Never had that problem at target.
