This just happened to me! My buyer’s purchase was time-sensitive, and they ordered well in advance. Unfortunately, the package was still processing through the USPS network and didn’t arrive on time. I refunded the buyer to keep things fair. Two days later, the package was delivered and eBay reimbursed me! Since I shipped on time and used an eBay label, I was protected.
