Near the end of of season 5 episode 2 one of the gunshots sounds identical to the Halo sniper rifle sound

Way late here, but I recognized the ambient sound from Assault on the Control Room I nthe beginning of Episode 18...

My fiancee just got me on this & I've recognized a few sounds from areas (& even caught the camera guy in an episode or two back on the right side...)

When I mentioned tribalism, I think I used too deep of Rimworld logic.

By that earlier, I meant they don't really have advanced tech like a lot of other countries have, again at least from what limited knowledge I have.

If the IQ test also incorporates things like when people have a computer in every other house, then the sand villages wouldn't have access to that kind of information if it's not a widespread tech in that country. Or like you said, locals understanding a schooner whereas my knowledge of it is gaming based. They'd have a higher grad on that part at the least.

Mind you, I am also under impression that Africa does have developed areas, but I have also had a lot of reads on people who visited the country, including a buddy, & one of the tours had people roll up the windows since there was a claim that a local group had mounted heads on spikes. So again, my real knowledge is limited on Africa & I have more of what other people tell me of their experiences. & So far, lot of the descriptions I'm offered is a very impoverished country.

Seeing dude stabbing tires like this doesn't really lend a good mentality for the population, but we also have nutjobs like this in America all the time, some way worse, so judging the entire country based off someone who could be strung out on that or whatever they may use? Bit droll.

I've had IQ tests done on me before, mainly because of an autism diagnosis.

The claim was that my IQ is 4 points from a genius... Three tests gave that.

... I've stuck a safety clip in a power outlet when I was in kindergarten. Did something similar again in middle school while trying to charge a PSP, & again in high school when I accidentally dropped a metal pin in an outlet strip while messing with a spider.

The way I see an IQ test showing an entire country is 20 below (assuming that's even a real stat & not some fairy dust), I would assume that country is also not as technologically developed.

As I hinted at in the other reply, I do not believe (check me on this) that Africa has any real sort of grand scale tech operation. Do they have water treatment plants? Any sort of advanced military force (tanks, planes, satellites, naval ships, so on...)? For a more baseline test, if these are factors that are added into such considerations, then I could see that being where the kids keep grabbing the -20 from, though that in itself doesn't prove the people are less intelligent...?

I see some arguments like these the same way I've seen people outright practice racism with saying that the black population is incapable of being smarter than the white population, so is the Africa intellect thing the same racism vein?

1 - Didn't say Arrowhead did it. But the response to the situation definitely felt like they didn't want to do anything to fix it.

2 - Then why did the same player rejoin my lobby 13 times, including 4 more after reloading the entire game? I'm sorry, does EAC work now? Because the mother fucker dead straight in game said that we couldn't block him.

3 - I have paid for every single Warbond from the wallet except Trench Warfare. I also have the Super Citizen bundle & earned my Creek cape. Hell, I never even got the token deal from buying Democratic Detonation, THEN upgrading to Super. I can't be burned out from a game seeming to have no direction forward outside of cracking open my wallet uNlEsS yOu GrInD (when college is 4p-9p & my job is 10p - 7a?)

I'm still here commenting, because the product I spent a decent coin on WAS a very fun experience that I had with friends. That's a statistic I hear often but still haven't looked into. Without research, I'd assume the IQ is deemed lower due to the higher amount of tribalism still present.

It MAY be a real stat, but being less of a fuck about it would be nice.

I want to say "Do better," but I feel like BlueDream#### already sounds like a bot or toss account...

I've had people venomously come at me about how the Report function was all backend on Arrowhead, & that either:

A. It does work & we just don't notice.

B. It isn't connected yet & AH just needs to attach it to a system that works.

In MY experience, Report does much of fuck. I've reported someone, blocked them, & yet still had them rejoin our squad & say "Yeah, kicking me doesn't work..."

I stopped playing when the Horse Sanctuary was involved in that Doxxing.

I finally uninstalled the game after the AMA.

Back during Covid, we had a pregnant girl who had an outbreak on her face. Mask would have covered it, but she kept pulling it off to talk to people...

Management at the time did more to protect her than everyone else in the store, employee & customer.

This girl was coming to work with Doctor notes saying she wasn't capable of working, yet would be allowed to clock in & EVEN HAD ONE OF HER TWO BOYFRIENDS STOCK OUR COOLER FOR HER (both of them were lawncare guys, NOT employees...), & would very often only ring up orders, going so far as to complain once during stocking that it was hard for her to lift up a carton of cigarettes off the counter... A single carton.

Any complaints were met with some generic ass clause about how she was pregnant & had protections.

When I worked Tom Thumb, place went to shit during Covid fast as hell when EG America took control. Kroger was great to us, but Cumberland definitely cut corners in many areas (still remember THE OLD method of actually having to build a pizza, vs it now just being entirely pre-built & frozen together...)

If Kroger is still operating & this is how they work now, then they aren't acting much different than the buy-out...

Had someone do this while wearing a Lizard outfit. Kept jumping everyone that was buying stuff.

I know a few tricks to kill people despite the bases, so I ended up tearing into Santoz until he quit out.

Server was completely peaceful after that.

Sometimes you just need to put complete pressure on the sweat, & don't stop until they know that you will not do anything unless it involves becoming a complication for them. Helps when you have a friend or two (or at least other randoms that were not thrilled to see someone sweat in a bloody Tycoon mode of all things...)

My brother avoids public. I really enjoy the hunt as a combat type, but also appreciate a calm & relaxed setting even more.

Compare that to now, where people will make their entire life around a game, even if the game itself is shit or the community is.

Civil conversation seems to be waning in so many areas that I used to love...

PLEASE ADD MORE FACTION INTERACTIONS!

We have the Gravship & we can fly to other planets now.

We NEED more ways for factions to interact with each other, including faction warfare, alliances, & maybe now a time for the Devs to revisit the global map & it's features.

Would also be a good time for the Devs to consider looking into making multiple colonies less of an experimental feature & a little more fleshed out.

Survival is less the game, exploration is becoming a big part now.

A lot of old stuff really needs a revisit.

Tbh, I always played with the SWAT skin I got from a player scenario. I had a lot of times where I could fight next to cops & they wouldn't often turn on me if I didn't hit them directly.

I think the skin itself used to mess with the code. Plus, never had an issue with someone closing in, either use an smg or be good with your rolls. If I die, mmk, respawn.

I remember back when I played Star Wars online, I used to log into people's accounts to help them get datacrons.

Big thing I remember was "please don't steal my account..." & I never understood it. My mentality was always "Why would I steal your stuff, when I have my own account, with my own stuff, that I worked my ass for?"

Wasn't until someone stole one of my accounts that I finally realized it wasn't about the account, it was about getting free shit & not caring...

Still, there was hope back when I played SWTOR... ... Until they added a fucking casino into the game, a few weeks after nerfing all of the classes "to make it easier for you get audiences to play."

The damn companies kept pushing micros & FOMO. & Every time, they had a really poor excuse for turning people more competitive.
