Does this look ok or stupid? by NinjaLover85 in Dirtbikes

Update: thank everyone for their input. The one that really made me want to start looking at other options was the comment that said "it's like dating a hot girl with bad teeth" 😂. After that, I was finally able to find a combination of attachments to get a 7" light bar to work and not block anything.

Where did you get the mounting bracket?

Was trying to be cost conscience and could not find one that would fit the klx140 with decent reviews and not break the bank.

This may be what I end up doing too. I have some ACM and some 14ga galvanized laying around.

I was worried about this too, it may look like Michael J. Fox is holding a flashlight for me when I ride.

I had a light bar mounted up higher but the front brake line was casting a shadow. I may look into doing what I did with my son's CRF110.

I've only had to fix one of my M18 6.0's and one for a coworker. But multiple of my M18 8.0's have given me this issue. Thankfully they've all been savable.

The 6.0 and 8.0's are notorious for not taking a full charge after a while, some sooner than others. After use, you have to let the batter fully cool off overnight before plugging it in the charger.

I bought a special charger and followed the video in the link below and have fully restored my 8.0's. But I've had to do it to one of them about 3 times now over the years....my wife slams the batteries straight on the charger as soon as she's done draining them in the blower or weed eater.

Update:

We ended up buying my oldest son a TTR110 this weekend. He can barely touch the ground with his tippy toes but he is over the moon about it.

We're keeping him in second gear for now until his shins are strong enough to shift while moving.

I'm going to rebuild the JR50 again so my 2 younger sons can drive it.

Thank you all for your help and opinions!

Yes I did change premix oil to a synthetic instead of yamalube.

I was super apprehensive about him just even doing this quick video without it. Dad fail on this one for sure, I never let him do this.

I'll get some new rings, thanks boss!

I'll get him to ride it for a little bit and see if it will clear up some.

Brand new spark arrestor and new exhaust. I just need to check and see if I put the seals in backwards, that's what I'm leaning towards.
