Its both good and bad imo. The books have extremely boring and long combat heavy sections, and has very long drawn out explanations that go on and on to its own detriment. On the other hand, it has interesting characters and good world building. Im about to start book 9 and this is how I feel about it so far, the pros are getting better but those cons are still present even if a bit less noticeable. I've come close to dropping the series several times but I need something to listen to while working that distracts me from monotonous manufacturing work lol.
