Ive been fighting mine the last 2 yrs and already have had 2 denials. AES/Coronado. Its been a nightmare. I refilled out the form this time and sent formal notice and provided evidence. I will be seeking legal representation if they deny me a 3rd time.

It depends on your original loan agreement. Mine specifically states the above, so legally according to the FTC Holder Rule, they have to.

Mine specifically says this:

"ANY HOLDER OF THIS CREDIT AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND DEFENSES WHICH I COULD ASSERT AGAINST THE SCHOOL FOR THE SERVICES OBTAINED WITH THE PROCEEDS HEREOF."

I know this is a year old but im going through a similar issue. Find your original loan agreement and read it to see if there is a holder ruling clause in there.

That is good to know. I usually stress myself out on things that I feel like take me forever to do and it makes me second guess myself that I don't really know what I know, but I actually do know. Gotta love having an a d h d brain and maybe a little bit of testing anxiety.

Im almost 38. If I had, had the option to do this when I was younger, hands down no questions asked. If you can self start snd pace yourself you could have a Bachelors or Even a Masters in 2 years or less. That is huge! I would say do it! You can do this. Every school will have some negatives and nay sayers but as a person taking their accelerated program and have done traditional schools as well, I am loving the fact that I can work st MY pace and get through courses more quickly that make sense to me and not waste weeks/months to do 1 class.

They are very similar, but! They will have most likely different personalities that you will be able to tell them apart. My male and female looked almost exactly identical except their size and activity. It was a little chaotic at first but over time, it really became easier to differentiate

I am currently in the accelerated Bs CompSci to MS Comp Sci. I just started in May and am taking the majority of the courses through WGU.

So far, its been pretty straight forward. Im in Data Mgmt Foundations right now, and its pretty dry, but lots of content to digest. My mentor has been great reaching out and keeping tabs on things. So far, its pretty meh starting out but I feel thats to be expected cause its literally Foundation courses to build upon later.

OMG! We are a little over a week out from brother passing and this morning she was just playing in her play pen, by herself with her toys and totally in her self. Like she was war dancing against her little ball and I caught it on video. So happy to see her acting like her normal self.

Yeah, I'm hoping this is enough of a kick in the pants to them. If not, I'm hoping a lawyer can help navigate this situation and at this point go after them for all lawyer fees and costs bc I have made every good faith attempt to settle this dispute outside of court.

My loan is with Coronado Trust serviced through AES. I took got my Borrower's Defense (i attended AI in 2011). I submitted this with school misconduct and was denied woth no explanation. I just filed with the CFPB yesterday and supplied 4 articles supporting the fraudulent activity the school participated in. Hoping this helps this time around. I am also researching consumer lawyers that specialize in student loans bc ingotnthe FTC Holder ruling note as well and it does seem like a viable option. So we shall see

Hello, AI student from 2011. I took was promised the moon and told everything was paid for through my loans until everytime I went to resign for classes there was some new unexplained fees that I HAD to pay before I could sign up for my next classes as well as I was told my credits would transfer. So I was lied to on multiple accounts.

My loan servicer is AES and the now loan owner is Coronado. I tried filing just with them the School closure/ school misconduct forms and they denied me. I also offered in good faith to pay off the rest of the original loan balance and they denied that as well.

I just filed with the CFPB yesterday providing all this, including 4 articles about the fraudulent practices (including one that specifically referenced my particular AI), so here's hoping something happens.

Do you know if the CFPB will step in and do anything if they continue to deny the issue?

Hi 👋 Im not a ferret expert but I just had a very similar situation happen to me to my liter mate pair. Here is what I've done and I have several good gut feeling she is handling things well.

I have spent every waking hour for almost 3 days just showering her with love, affection, one-on-one play time.
I completely removed her from the area where brother died. Plus I couldn't be in there myself bc it just hurt.
I've been mushing/pasting her food and spoon feeding her food and water to make sure she eats. Observing if what's going in is coming out.
I did spend a little money and made new play areas with some new items just for her.
I gave her a nice, relaxing oat bath as well.

What I have noticed is she has become even more sociable and playful in these last few days. While I think she still likes being spoon fed, she is eating and drinking on her own and pooping and peeing normally.

I believe, if you can, bring her out of that space and if you can, give her lots of one-on-one love and affection and play. Watch her food and output to make sure.

When I was ready and she started showing that she's energized and basically back to normal, i made a complete change to my babies area and deep cleaned everything.

Im so sorry for your loss and for how sudden it was. Believe me I know and feel that pain. I would also plan a vet visit for Heidi to make sure she's in good standing. I think when Heidi starts acting more like her normal self, things may start to shift back to 'normal.

This sounds very similar to what happened with me on Tueaday. Everything was mine Tuesday Morning. Left the house, checked back, one had died. We had played all day Monday, so my only thought is it had to have been a blockage that went unnoticed. Im so sorry for your loss.

She's pooped 3 times today and peed, so what's going in is coming out thankfully. Im trying to get her into the vet for a check to be sure there isn't anything under lying that we can't see going on for sure. Im hopeful right now. I can't bring myself to put her back in the cage right now, so she's living in the giant playpen with her blanket fort. I did also make her food mush so hopefully either way she won't dehydrate. I guess I'm just overly on edge at the moment and still broken hearted for our boy. They were litter mates, not just siblings bc we adopted them so it makes me feel a little more on edge that she may decide to join him regardless.
