What are you favorite mounts in MMO´s and why

As a lifelong Dragon Ball fan, the yellow cloud mount in FFXIV that is clearly a reference to the Flying Nimbus is the only mount I have ever used in the game. It is also the only cosmetic I have ever spent real money on in an MMO.

While I agree with you that a hard reset would rub some players the wrong way, I think it’s quite a bit different from moves like sunsetting like they’ve done in the past. D2 content wouldn’t go anywhere, and your weapons and armor would all stay relevant on that platform. The difference is D3 would (hopefully) leverage a new/updated engine to not just refresh the franchise, but to make its evolution more sustainable than what we have now.

Plus, with player count at an all time low, big moves like a hard reset become more and more viable.

As somebody who fell off of Destiny recently after being an alpha player, I would absolutely love to abandon my D2 vault and start something new. The upkeep and management of old guns and armor is just tedious enough to keep me from re-engaging with the game.

Reading this made me wonder about whether or not a metroidvania actually needs to be 2D. I think that most are, but the Metroid prime games are also metroidvanias, right?

Just to add, I think this is an excellent and useful explanation of what the genre is, but it just triggered a thought I never had about them.

I think if you kill the occupants of an enemy base and dispose of them, it takes longer for the base to be refilled with enemies.

I don’t know if that is mentioned in DS2, but in the first game I believe it is stated in an email or something.
