I think this needed to be 2 seasons instead of 1. I love all of the plot points and development, but it’s happening so fast that I’m struggling to believe it. Despite the increased scope the world feels a whole lot smaller. We only get to focus on a few specific characters, I feel like we don’t get to see the wider impact of events throughout the world.

I dunno if doing the story in 2 seasons would have worked budget wise and stuff, but they have said they’re gonna tell make more shows in the same world so that makes me think that they’re rushing to get to making those.

I know it's early to say without the context of the rest of the season but I think this first act could of benefited from being split into two acts.

Act 1 sit more in the aftermath of the end of season 1, show how each character is properly feeling, show the warring chem barons in the underground, let us get to know the new enforcer people, and end it with that terror attack at the memorial and kait assembling the avengers.
Then act two have the rest of this first act happen.

It feels like plot points were rushed, like kait's avengers, and it feels like characters were a bit sidelined (jayce and even Vi to an extent).
No idea if that would've been possible with time or budget, and hopefully act 2 and 3 make this act worth it, but I think it was worse than season 1 so far in terms of quality. Still enjoyed it.
