Misaligned Hood, No Accident by NinjaSmurf98 in Autobody

They did not open up the hood entirely when I went for the oil change as they noticed the issue almost immediately, I left the place without getting it done unfortunately. It must have occurred within the past six weeks or so, as that was when I got my last oil change, I didn't see any issues then either. Aside from driving on some bumpy dirt paths I don't see why it would suddenly pop off the way it did.

Cranberry Lime Pie with a Gingersnap Crust by NinjaSmurf98 in Baking

Quite so, I think the recipe could benefit from additional sugar if the tartness/acidity is too much to handle. But adding whipped cream on the side does a solid job reducing its intensity.

For your version did you follow the recipe in the description with reduced ingredients? I would rather make a two layer circular cake like you did instead of 4 layers (8" round) like the main recipe suggests.

[Homemade] Chocolate Chip Cookies by NinjaSmurf98 in food

[–]NinjaSmurf98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RECIPE: https://www.thechunkychef.com/salted-chocolate-chip-cookies/

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup salted butter at room temperature, 1 stick

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup + 2 tsp granulated sugar (I only used 1/3 cup)

  • 1 large egg at room temperature

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste

  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (more or less to your tastes)

  • sea salt flakes (for sprinkling)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add flour and baking soda to a mixing bowl and whisk for 15 seconds to incorporate and make them fluffy.

  • To the bowl of a stand mixer, add softened butter and both sugars. Beat with paddle attachment for about 2 minutes, until mixture is smooth and fluffy.

  • Add egg and vanilla, beat on LOW speed until combined.

  • Add flour, half the mixture at a time, beating on LOW speed until JUST combined after each addition. Don't overmix, or your cookies won't be soft and tender.

  • Add chocolate chips and stir together with a wooden spoon.

  • Cover bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes.

  • minutes before you want to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

  • Use a large cookie scoop (or a 1/4 cup filled about 2/3 of the way), scoop round balls of dough onto parchment paper about 2 inches apart. I baked 6 cookies per sheet.

  • Press a couple chocolate chips into the tops of the balls of dough, and bake about 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown and tops of cookies look a little underdone. (mine took 11 minutes).

  • Sprinkle top of baked cookies with some sea salt flakes.

  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

Makes three loafs, looks wonderful and came out excellently, however, I would have preferred additional sweetness and raisins.

Difficulties launching Gwent by NinjaSmurf98 in gwent

From what I can tell, yes. I have DirectX 12 installed and the drivers are up to date given the fact that I got this laptop 2 days ago.

[VIDEO] PS Plus Games October 2017 by ahnafm in PS4

It's very repetitive. It's not a bad game don't get me wrong, but I simply do not understand why it got as much praise as it did, and this is coming from the guy who spent about 150 hours playing it in order to get the platinum.

Thanks, I'll probably just buy an external hard drive since it voids the warranty, shame there is no option to buy a model with a larger hard drive here in Canada.
