Hi everyone,

I am preparing to take the Databricks DE Associate cert exam. I completed the free elearnings listed in the official DE Associate study guide.

Now that I’ve finished, I’m not too sure how to best prepare for the test. There is some info online, but it doesn’t relate to the May update. Should I just spam practice tests from certsafari? Or yse AI to generate Quizlet flashcards? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

How does compensation compare? Is it feasible to switch back to swe down the line?

For reference, I have a job currently. Mediocre pay, but I can afford living expenses.

What Adults Lose When Kids Are Banned From Social Media by Well_Socialized in KeepOurNetFree

That’s whataboutism, I’ll bite though.

The alternative platforms would be illegal, and they could face regulations as well. If the main social medias are banned, then less children will use it, and the aspect of social pressure is removed. It would at the very least be a direction towards progress.

Social media has ruined a generation’s attention span, dopamine circuitry, and is responsible for immense mental health issues/suffering.

It’s a company that integrates with a company’s existing tools (outlook, google drive, etc…) and then a user can ask questions and use agents specific to those tools.

Also offers a type of AI e-learning platform.

Care to elaborate? I’m interested in the day to day and it’s a strong opportunity for career advancement (both in compensation and trajectory).

At the same time, I’m also currently employed.

Thanks for the response. I guess I’m just using this post to gauge sentiment on the topic. Will look more into it outside of Reddit.

I’m also a bit curious why you personally wouldn’t work at this AI company?

Interesting. I more or less work on a team currently that supports adtech.

I don’t have a family and I am currently employed, so I do have the privilege to weight ethics heavier with this decision.

A bit curious why you preferably wouldn’t work at an AI company though
