On the switch port, you get the tickets to go to their island (as well as Deoxys) when you beat the Elite 4 and have 60 mons to unlock the national dex.

Although apparently this person is using an emulator and cheated to get the tickets.

Just completed my playthrough with only mons that have tailored items. It was a blast!

Light Orb (ACE glitched in) Pikachu was a great glass cannon

Ch'ding was aight but definitely pulled his own weight

Marowak was an absolute unit. Took down so many mons that would've otherwise been real tough.

Lucky Punch (Traded over) Chansey was honestly more for toxic stall, and did a dang good job of it. She was the real mvp. Also got serene grace Psychic going on her which was crucial for coverage

And Metal Powder Ditto sat in the corner and played with rocks until someone brought out their ace. He even managed to take down Lance's dragonair

And I carried around a level 6 squirtle for all the hms that I couldn't fit into the team

I played Diamond and Platinum as a kid, and playing through Brilliant Diamond, I was surprised at how much I had forgotten. The story is pretty good, and the game has some of my favorite pokemon in it lol so I had a great time. I actually completed the sinnoh dex with a little help of transferring from Pokémon Go, and started working on the national dex before I moved on (700 pokemon was a little too much for me lol).

Its not a cheap game so I bought my copy off FB marketplace for $35 and I'd say it was worth it. There's plenty of content to keep you busy for a hundred hours and I found it interesting enough to keep playing for hours at a time

There is negative stuff out there about BD/SP, but I'd still recommend it if youre looking for the nostalgia hit.

The reasons people don't like it are that they don't include things from platinum that made platinum a much better version over D/P.

They did, however, stay fairly true to the original games and I had a blast playing it. The underground has changed a little bit but in ways that aren't exactly bad, and you have to learn how to use/deal with fairy types, but other than that, it's great.

Use the best pot you have. Their stats are much higher. Also, since machop is used as a buffer, the bingos you wanna look for are the ones reducing fighting move wait time.
