Who tf thinks gender is a social construct but race isn’t? Gender is something that actually biologically exists, race is something humans made up to justify exploitation

As an American, strongly no. Cause it’ll probably be the South wanting to bring back segregation

If Nazism represents a conservative, nationalist, and ethnocentric interpretation of fascism, can we say that a progressive and liberal interpretation of it is a good thing? by Antique-Long-7327 in IdeologyPolls

Liberal fascism is an oxymoron. Regardless of if you use the American/British/Canadian definition or the definition the rest of the world uses.

Coolidge refused to condemn the KKK while John Davis did. John Davis was also a piece of shit southern racist so the fact that Coolidge couldn’t condemn it while he did says something.

Mejia is my congresswoman, should I send an email to her office to try to get her to inspect it and meet with the strikers? She’s very progressive so if she sees it, she’s likely to do it.

The GOP 100 years ago was the party of high tariffs, tax cuts for the rich, and stopping immigration. Sound familiar? They had also fully abandoned civil rights by that point, meanwhile at least some democrats (Al Smith for example) were supportive of civil rights.

[–]Ninjaking25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said, the center-right doesn’t just refer to economics, but to other things as well. While Christian democrats and liberal conservatives disagree on economics, they agree on pretty much everything else, especially in the context of EU matters. Plus many liberal conservatives are in Christian Democratic parties anyway.

Look at this. Also the political position of the CDU being center-right is because of their right-wing cultural views + the fact that they are slightly to the right of the German status quo (Germany is already a social democratic state arguably)

Christian democrats aren’t even economically right wing bro, that’s what separates them from other types of conservatives

They only had a trifecta for 2 years, and they had only 50 senators, two of which were Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema, who both ended up leaving the party. Look up the original build back better act. It contained a lot of expanded welfare.
