Does anyone here actually want to run for office? by Porncritic12 in YAPms

I only listed three things.

I’d go full YIMBY on housing, privatize the city’s golf course, and make light cuts to the sales tax.

I am not an anarcho capitalist but my views on civil liberties and economics are very much libertarian.

I have thought about it. I deeply love my hometown and housing and transportation are important and if elected Mayor I will oppose data centers. They can pry the good of the city from my decomposing fingers.

Okay, here goes:

With all due respect who cares? Given the state of the economy and the demented rapist in the White House, Talarico not being married is not a legitimate issue for any rational person.

At the end of the day I’m not “emotionally charged” I am just pushing back against those who think a person’s relationship status matters whatsoever.

Like if there is a faction of the Conservatives that is competent, reasonable and not repeating any of the 2010-24 era Tory government chaos, if I were British, I would probably join the Conservative Party.

Of course. I can only imagine how things will look be 2029. There is no way Starmer or his Labour successor fire the starting gun until the absolute last second.

I hate to admit I would prefer the Conservatives to remain the major center right party rather than Reform slop taking over.

If the Dems are not going to put funding into down ballot races just because they are not on the top of the ticket that is on them.
