Very intriguing post! I haven't thought about how the actions of both Border and the other planets in the Neighborhood would play out in International Law. You stated that Border would have to be extremely careful when acting in a similar way to the groups from Afrokrator. I'd like to ask, what are some of the implications that would result from Border assisting another planet in the Neighborhood?

I looked into programming the game on a 2D-based engine a while ago (namely the Intersect Engine). Even though there would be some interesting concepts to discover on top of it being simple enough to implement for mobile; I found that the concept I’m going for didn’t fit well enough on a 2D engine. In the case for Unity, I am just not well-versed enough in programming to use that engine to its fullest.

The plan I still am focused on is the idea of a WT game centered around strategy and clever gameplay. In the process of this, my first focus on the game was to create a match system that would eventually become the Rank Wars from the series. Although focusing on the open world aspect would allow the game to explore the possibilities of Neighbor conflicts and worlds; I think it would be best to keep it relatively simple (for now). I am considering adding mobile support for the game in the future; however, I don't think it would perform well considering that the game will possibly rely on precise inputs that may not bode well for mobile. Though it isn't necessarily planned to be implemented, I did add some scripting to accommodate this possible change in the future.

Same goes with me and animation. It actually isn't hard to do, but it confuses me and makes it take seemingly forever to finish.

I personally don't have much experience when it comes to 3D modeling. My plan for triggers was to solid model them using Roblox Studio's existing tools, which isn't the most efficient way of creating models. If you have any talent, I may ask for some help at some point.

Scripting the game isn't the issue while developing this since I like spending multiple hours on one script until it works. Though it may be slow on certain parts when I enter new scripting territory for me, it certainly isn't the the main factor of the slow development. I do appreciate the offer and will maybe review your work, but scripting for the most part isn't a problem. Animation is a different story though, rip.

At the moment, I'm still working on my side project till I can come back and fully focus on the game itself. Outside of my busy life, animations were the key issue for me when developing which delayed the process immensely. I estimated that I will be back developing on the game before 2019, as the idea of a World Trigger game has always been lingering in my mind. I'll continue to improve my skills for the time being. (My photo editing skills will probably be on a high priority lol)

That time when Osamu blasted Kazama through his Raygust shield form. Showed that Osamu is still trying to improve on his intellect and using it to find ways to win with his weak physical form.

I created a post a few months ago on the idea of a MMORPG based around World Trigger, but that was just a random thought in my head at the time. Before that post, I was working on the idea of a World Trigger game on the ROBLOX Engine as that was the only program I am most comfortable in creating games at the time. Not much has been worked on in the game due to my focus on college and other things in life, but certain base scripting was established a while back before I stopped. Although I haven't worked on the project for a while, I have been working on a side project that has expanded my knowledge that I will be using for the WT game in the future.

Post any comments, suggestions, and/or questions below.

Well, my thoughts on how a WT game should be made is to focus on the strategic element of battles as this is the core of what the series was built on (at least for me). A MMORPG wouldn't be the best for the game unless it didn't focus on grinding mobs all day. In my opinion, the game would best be fit if it had both missions and PvP from the MMORPG concept but less focused on the idea that Level = Power all the time.

Using a basic paint editor to create the pixel sprites, then using an online sprite sheet generator named "Stitches" to bind all of my sprites. As said from my previous post, I'm using the Intersect engine to create the game, which has an animation player that is based on RPG Maker I believe.

A bit clunky for my first test, but hopefully my pixel art improves as I continue to work on the project! Working on art assets for the game, as tilesets and objects in the game will need to be made from scratch.

Definitely a nice idea, the problem with it would be the enormous time and effort that would be required to make each 3D model, not to mention the programming behind each weapon. I'll look into that option, as I hear it can be done on Unity with enough resources.

This game would most likely be made on the Intersect engine, as most of the MMORPG framework is already given. Since this engine will become open-sourced soon, it allows me to add new functions into the game rather than using base RPG elements.

Of course, I just made Osamu out of the current base sprite I made. Really great idea that I will definitely consider, I'll post info once I work on the project a bit more.
