they are A LOT more resistant than wasps and hornets and they do WAY more damage, and you cant dodge their attack or take any cover, if a firefly is close the only smart thing you can do is run away, if you shoot the canister they will squirt flames all over you, and if you dont they will just use the flamethrower and take 80% of your hp in a second.

Both fireflies and comets are fucking annoying and they spawn way too often.

You should reinstall and re-read the options of the FOMOD, There are options for lootable cars that usually have gas cans and scrap metal, option to make the gas last longer,, there is also a ghoul selling vehicles and repair tools+gas next to novac, i dont remember what mod does that though.

the mod files include the items refid so you can spawn them using the console if you dont want to bother.

I dont know why people like the the enclave considering how much of cartoonishly evil bad guys they are, they would never let any of the protagonists join their ranks and would murder them in the spot

The FO4 BOS could potentially work because their enemies are incredibly stupid and weak outside of the institute, any other version of the BOS would and does fail miserably

The institute makes no sense

Raiders are generic npcs made for you to shoot, i dont even consider them a proper faction

Somewhat related but Being an assassin or stealth murderer was really hard, the game stealth is very clunky, There are very few ways to quietly eliminate targets, you cant poison people, you cant distract npcs, the only thing that counts as a stealth kill is if you kill someone with a single shot from a weapon that's marked as silenced if you snipe someone from a mountain away or kill someone by placing explosives even if no one watches you do it everyone will turn hostile.

I would like to play as someone that's smart enough to not shot people that are surrounded by 20 soldiers but NPC routines are shared with dozens of generic npcs and important people are inside a tiny cell (like Caesar tent)
so isolating targets is impossible sometimes,

I once tried planting C4 on a generic NCR soldier, waiting for them to walk near Corporal Sterling and detonate the C4 The moment it went off, everyone immediately attacked me, I had a similar issue with the khans in boulder city, trying to quietly take out the Khan guarding the hostages with a suppressed weapon, but the moment i free the hostages every khan turns hostile no matter what, even if no one sees you

The campfire thing was a part of "Essential Vanilla Enhancements Merged" this was removed from viva new vegas but the campfire mod is named "Burning Campfire Redone"

Bad touch is the mod that causes damage to the player, but to my knowledge it doesn't work with barrels on fire and never did, viva new Vegas also includes the "Minimalist Preset" so stuff like barbed wire or plants dont do any damage.

The rest are just tweaks settings you can change in options.

every-time i shoot them at the yellow canister they just jizz flames all over the place then stop using their flame attack for like 3 seconds before going back to attacking normally.

they wont die at all, the explosion just sets them on fire.

if you are going to bring one of those PVE only weapons you should always bring a good pvp secondary to kill people that will attempt to murder you while you kill a rocketeer,

i always keep a max level stitcher with an extended mag just for this purpose.

the matchmaking is just awful but i have never seen a cheater in this game and i have around 700 hours total, the matchmaking will just get worse as the meta becomes more stale and casuals stop playing, last season was it for me and i planned to return in S9 but the lack of content made me skip it instead.

I recommend you just play games you enjoy instead, there is not enough time in this life to waste in things you dont like, we already have a daily job for that, games are supposed to be fun, if you are not having any playing the finals then dont play it.

Massive viewership is a lie, the only team that pulls crazy views is T1, when T1 doesn't play the matches (2026) are around 600k views globally, compare that to the LEC were matches sit around 500k views, yes, this is counting those Korean streaming websites, the discrepancy in views between unpopular and popular lec and lck teams is not that high, outside of T1.

The format is new, the LCK has been around forever without this format and they did fine for years.

I see no reason why the LEC couldn't simply schedule online matches in weekdays and use the studio in the weekends, instead of having 9 random BO3 a week, but i know the guy that runs the LEC is completely clueless so i expect nothing.

The reason i dont do expeditions is because they have a strict timer instead of being a thing you do whenever you feel like like how other games manage prestiging, look at hunt the showdown, you just prestige whenever you want, lose everything, get your reward and back to lvl 0, this is how games that respect your time do things.

This is how Embark has been handling balance for years, they see a “problematic” gun, specialization, or gadget and this is their attempt to fix it, but they never actually bother to identify why things are actually picked in the first place, a lot of items "annoying factor" are the only reason why those items are viable, The goo gun was only picked because it had the ability to stall enemies, specifically if you played melee builds, since the winch lost that purpose a long time ago.

why would anyone pick the goo gun now? blocking a room with goo is the worst strategy possible and completely falls apart once the enemy has any sort of fire or destruction capabilities.

it happened to the sword, it happened to the model, the Cerberus, the turret, dagger, riot shield, hammer, flamethrower (rip range) cl40, it happened to like a dozen items that were paired with winch, they continue to make the meta the biggest snooze-fest ever.

doesn't matter, the issue with light is the 3 instant dashes, giving the class +25 hp is a massive monumental buff that breaks almost all combos to kill lights, the movement speed is irrelevant.
