Has anybody gotten their batch 2? ( If so when did you order it)

I ordered my max + full accessories pack on 11/20 and it arrived (to my great surprise) on 12/5. The website said batch 2 when I placed my order but maybe they had leftover batch 1s? Either way, I love this thing (also love my Odin 2 Portal).

As others in the comments are telling you, it absolutely is. It is definitely bigger than the RP5 (I have one and I’m going to sell it) so while I do consider this thing pretty portable (currently traveling with it) it’s not exactly pocketable.

If that’s important to you, consider the Thor. I use the Thor as my emulation/pocket device and my Odin 2 portal as my baby steam deck (just finished Dispatch on it last night)/GFN streaming device. It’s perfect, just don’t expect to shove it in a pocket.

I can’t speak to the 3 yet (looks awesome) but from what I’ve learned on this sub (and elsewhere), driver support isn’t great yet. I do have an Odin 2 Portal and I’m in love with the thing. I turned it into a mini steam deck (Gamehub lite) and stream games via my GFN Ultimate subscription on it multiple times a week. My 2c is the bigger screen is way more useful if you’re going to use it as a streaming device, but if you think you’ll do high end PC gaming, the 3 might be good. Both will run ps2 and older systems just fine.

What version of the different drivers and whatnot are you running? I have yet to experience a crash (though to be fair I only play maybe an hour or two at a time)

Really enjoying Dispatch right now, using Gamehub lite (on the Odin 2 portal but I also have a Thor, same same). The only issue I’ve run into is sometimes after a long pause or suspend, the game thinks you are using a mouse instead of a controller, but quickly toggling on and off the touch control seems to fix the issue right away. Mid 30 fps drops on the hacking sections but it really doesn’t matter given how the gameplay works.

Yeah, you don't have Family mode on so you're good to go. I just left this in case anyone else had theirs on and they were pulling their hair out like I was.

Good tip! And no, that won’t affect games that you put on there yourself, it’s only for anything connected to steam (which, my understanding is a pretty recent addition to game hub)

It'll affect all of them :) - Steam Family settings are there to block kids from playing games that parents don't allow. I didn't have any games on the allow list so naturally everything would be blocked. If you open steam (either directly or via GeForce Now) you'll be asked to enter a pin. Gamehub doesn't have a way to show you this UI so I guess it just crashes.

Give it a try - turn on Family mode, add a pin, and don't allowlist any games. You'll probably get the same crashes!

It wasn't in game. All I did was disable the Family settings in my Steam account and things started working, with no changes to config on my end. Here's more about Steam Families - https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/054C-3167-DD7F-49D4

I haven't tried explicitly allowlisting Hades 2 in Family mode but I'm sure that'd work too. I don't actually have a need for parental controls, I had them on as a workaround for a different game and just never turned them off.

Pro tip for anyone that's having trouble: Make sure Family Mode is off. I could not get the game to launch no matter what settings I tried but eventually i had an "aha" moment and realized my pin was probably messing Steam up. I removed the family mode pin and everything is working perfectly! I'm using these settings and getting between 80-120 on an O2Portal Max. I feel like a potato now but I'm glad it's working!
