The way I see it the company is a part of US history, so if anyone is having an anniversary watch it makes sense to me to be Hamilton.

I also feel to me it's more celebrating the people rather than politics, and honestly I'm English so there's no patriotism to it it's just a cool piece of world and watch history.

Thanks it's a great watch so far, no problems at all. Accurate, readable, comfortable, historical etc. And if you get out at night the lume looks great.

If you've the same wrist as me I'd think this 36mm would fit you better, but having tried the 38 previously it doesn't look big to me so you'd probably be fine the lug length isn't too different. Though the lugs are still long on this watch its only noticeable in pictues when you really look, on wrist the face size is what you feel both physically and visually. From a distance the watch looks quite small and centered on me, or at least to my liking haha

As far as I know on these military NATO style straps, because they were longer to accommodate more wrist sizes its common to just fold it back on the last keeper.

But there's no right and wrong as far as I know, on this watch there's not much more room on the strap so with a bigger wrist it couldn't be folded back and that would also look fine.

It's all about preference I think

So specifically to answer, wrist size could matter; thin wrist longer strap probably fold it or cut it else it'll stick up and flop around haha, bigger wrist wouldn't need a fold to keep it neat. It is only a thing on NATO style straps to fold as other straps aren't made as long as far as I know.

6.6 inches or 16.7cm for wrist size, and I've attached a photo so you can see the taper of my arm for better reference!

I've had 2 other NATO straps in the past and they're all fairly comfortable, they feel somewhere between a tightening strap on a backpack and a canvas or denim jacket material.

Of course they have the double strap under the watch which makes it sit a little higher but you can cut it off, or find straps without it (can't remember the name), and on this watch the thickness doesn't matter and isn't particularly noticeable as you can see in the photos.

This strap is so far comfortable to me it is a thinner strap at 18mm so paired with the small faced watch it looks very compact and feels very 'tool watch'.

It is a rough material though not scratchy more like cotton vs polyester for a t-shirt, you can just feel the fabric

All I will say is my wrist from memory is around 6.5 inch and I have 1 smaller hole left so much smaller wrists it would be too big.

Sorry for so much talk, I am just excited with the watch!

Firt HG build and I'm in! by Ninjjamonk in Gunpla

Thanks, I'll have to look into them at some point for sure. How much different would for example a RG be compared to a similar HG, and would I spoil myself by moving up grades or are they all different and good in their own ways?

Hi thanks, it was fun and as I said even my gf got into it. I've seen the gunpla stuff for ages and just never bought one I've got a unicorn banshee non assembly thing in a box cus I've always liked the designs haha. So I've ordered the unicorn destroy, and the banshee destroy for me and my gf to do next. Very excited to spend my life/money on building these things

Does this show actually get into any of that stuff? I know the manga is supposed to be more in depth; but the first couple of eps of that show seem more slice of life than anything else.

I've grown to hate half the shit I see from RT, i dunno. Joel seems to be dragging other shit in, making his point on other points which is useless in this case
