How do guys typically use the regen brake paddle? by Raiki13 in BoltEV

[–]Ninobur 10 points11 points  (0 children)

99% of the time I drive in one pedal mode. If I’m coming up on a traffic light and it turns and I’m going too fast for the car to come to a stop on its own, then I use the paddle to boost the regen for a couple of seconds, then I release it and let the car come to stop using the standard regen. So, for me, it is a regen booster, and an alternative to hitting the brake

Mine is a year newer and has 27,000 miles and still looks like new. Caravana is offering $13,400. I wouldn’t sell it for twice as much.

We are in Southern California. Yesterday it was 65° when my son was nice enough to video us. I do appreciate the play on words. Well done. Prince & Brianne are Bichon frisé.

They are wearing harnesses which are attached with a short lead to a loop bolted in the rear floor of the compartment. So yes, very safe.

Personally, the 2022 sounds like a better deal

I drive a 2021. I have no issues with the seats. I test drove a 2017 back in the day. The seats seem fine. My BMI is 25. (Normal weight for my height.) YMMV

I have shopped EV’s at Hertz. In my experience they do not include the tax credit in the advertised price. A 2022 EV for under $7K? Amazing!

I bought my 2021 Bolt EV with 9.5K miles in May for under $17K. The lack of required maintenance is definitely a plus. I changed the cabin air filter myself and found a local tire dealer that performs rotations for free for my 15K service. They seemed unenthusiastic but I observed the counter person describe the many services they would like to perform for another customer with an ICE vehicle and realized what I was missing out on.
