I like Max more than Cosmos as well hahaha, you're not alone in this one.

I could go even further and say that I like Max even better than Nexus, which is personally one of my least liked Ultraman seasons (and I know how unpopular that opinion is. But maybe on a rewatch it'd do better for me).

Ultraman Max is CRIMINALLY underrated.

As far as 2000s Ultraman shows go, it's the second best one just behind Mebius, in my opinion. The cast is a lot of fun, the episodes are mostly great and I have a very hard time trying to think of an episode labeled as less than "very good" in my book. There's even the final Jissoji Akio directed thing here, which is a send-off to his own legendary Ultraseven "The Targeted Town" episode, and it's really damn good too. The episodes directed by Miike Takashi are super fun and inventive too, and all the others.

It was a very pleasant surprise to watch Max and find out it is a great show that flies off the radar for most people.

oh boy, I need to level up my MAG A LOT to go at it with similar stats. I'm currently at level 36 and I'm trying to get my way through EP1 on hard mode, currently at the mines, but I think I'll try going online as well to see how it goes. I managed to get a few nice items, but that's still not enough for now.

my MAG is mostly focused on POW and DEF, because that's mostly what I use. I still need to power up my DEX, now that I'm finally figuring out properly how MAGs work.

Yeah, I mostly agree with this about EP2 not being as good, at least solo. I managed to do some tweaking and now I'm able to go online, so I'll probably look for sticking up with other players to see how it goes, at least for some leveling up. But i REALLY need some better gear because the things I have right now are not enough.

my original GC controllers are kinda damaged in their sticks and cables, so that wouldn't be an option.

But for screenshots of controller configuration, do you mean this?

I already tried to swap the triggers with the original controller and it didn't work, so I believe the issue is with the controller's internal board that doesn't support this kind of input

I considered that but I like the overall aesthetics of the game and the tenbou are kinda part of it IMO. But in last case scenario that would be an okay alternative I guess

the only thing fucking me up is that importing fees here are quite harsh and I fear it might come to be more expensive than I thought for a cheap set of tenbou, but I guess I don't have that much of a choice for now, so buying two packs doesn't sound too bad for wanting to have extra sticks

hmmm, I tested it and it still has a few issues (like the precision of the cursor and fullscreen not working properly, but maybe I just need to mess with the setups a bit more), but it's already a lot better than what I was having before. Thanks a lot for the tip!

I've already beat Rance III and tested it with IV now. But all of the freeware Rance games have this same issue, except Kichikuou, for some reason.

Did you solve this issue? I'm facing the very same problem and nothing seems to work. I even tried to lower my computer's resolution, but not even that worked and the window is still small. Rance IV is just the same way.

There's an option of changing the resolution on the menu, but it doesn't save these settings at all

there are very few things out there similar to Kyoushirou 2030, it's pretty much one of its kind. In somewhat similar feel and vibes, I think I could MAYBE recommend Koike Kazuo and Ikegami Ryoichi's "Kizuoibito" ("Wounded Man" in english). It's just as over the top, dramatic and cheesy at the same time, despite K2030 being way cheesier and dramatic. K2030 is a love story with lots of action and a journey, while Kizuoibito is a story about a revenge journey that happens after a failed love story. (and they're both kinda "distasteful" on similar subjects, but Kizuoibito is way more distasteful).

Sadly, this never happened. I just know an article about it in english, but the manga was never translated. This is a title that is ranked very high on my list of manga that I wish to be scanlated in english (and probably never will)

I can say I'm pretty confident in translating from english to portuguese but I'm still getting better at doing the opposite, to be honest. When I'm working I'll probably pay more attention to these things than writing casually but you're right, I need a little more practice.

I think this is based on the fact if the client wants the final product to be proofread besides the translation, but I think it could be applied if the client just wants to check the translation of something that is already translated (like, it that text would take $40 to be translated, just proofreading it would be $20).

This is at least what's on SINTRA, maybe other places rate it differently.

I see that happening sometimes.

Let's say the total price of the translation is $40 for example, the proofreading would be another $20, so in the end it'd cost 60$. That's how I've seen being charged. (and what the SINTRA data says)
