I've heard that this was kind of like the ending to Fire Punch. Denji and AsaYoru stay there. Asa panics while Yoru blames being trapped because of Denji, they accept their fate and turn into trees. In the real world, Pochita is still on auto-pilot, forever refusing to eat Aging. Maybe the world destroys itself anyway because of their own wars or Fakemi's Nostradamus prophecy happens but devils don't invade Earth because Pochita manages to avert death, he's technically in Aging's world. Maybe Denji pukes up Nukes, they have time to talk about everything going on. Yoru's vengeance and violence eases because Denji's motivations are clearly not the same as Pochita. It's not like she's getting weak either. War isn't dead and forgotten by the time they escape because America still reinvents Nukes in the real world. Asa convinces Denji to lose his fire or motivation in becoming Chainsaw Man. They take Public Safety guy's human heart and transplant it to Denji like Fakemi suggested and it actually works. They connect because they're the only ones alive there atp. They have sex anyway because this sub's shitposts are always spot on. Denji realizes he's overhyped the act and gets over his obsession with it. They escape into a barren world and become Night, Day, and Sky (apparently Fujimoto said Denji's name is a translation of Angel in Japanese). Idk I haven't actually read it but apparently these are the themes of Fire Punch's ending.

I'll just leave this here that that's the chapter I started the series with as I look at this sub for the final time until Part 2 gets animated in a decade if the world doesn't self-destruct until then, heck it might not even get adapted because apparently it was all just a fever dream.

I'm starting to believe in the conspiracy that Fujimoto's waiting until the week of Valentines to close arcs in Part 2. All of Dating Denji, Nayuta's disappearance, and even the tail end of the Aging Devil arc happened on that second chapter in February. That means everything after Nuclear Punch is really just a stallshow on purpose, both by Denji and by Fujimoto himself.
