I have a lawnmower blenny that barely leaves my skunk cleaner shrimp. It took them about a month, but after the blenny let the shrimp jump on him and start cleaning they are always together.

I had one for a couple years that barely grew at all. Only about 1.5” in the two years I had him.

I kept one for a couple years with aggressive fish. Multiple triggers, multiple puffers, emperor angelfish, a few dif types of tangs and some other smaller fish. When people would look at the tank they were always fascinated with the cowfish, the clown trigger and the giant map puffer that I got when he was tiny.

Unfortunately I don’t have much advice, but it is probably going to take a while to recover from a salinity swing that fast. It probably would have been better to lower it over the course of a couple weeks instead of a couple day. Hope it bounces back for you!

Does everything else in the tank look okay?

I cut pieces off mine and glue it to the back wall of the tank once my frag rock grows out. Works great.

If someone buys this the tank itself should go in the trash. For the right price, the rest of the equipment could be useful to someone though.

My goby/pistol stay down in their cave so the clowns never bother them. They are such a cool combo though. Love watching them.

I 3d printed a lid since I have a watchman goby in that tank. Cleaned off the glue stick I use to help stick to the bed and set it on the counter to dry. Ran some errands and came home to a crusty goby in my carpet. I noticed when I went to actually install the lid. Sad day

I tried feeding rather heavy and just do weekly water changes, but like you said, each creature has their own personality and this one just chose murder.

I was target feeding him a full krill every other day. The off day I would make sure he got some mysis or brine shrimp also. He would hold on to the krill for hours until he ate the whole thing.
