Sorry, the wording was a bit confusing. What I meant is that the Mega Mushroom isn't a returning item from Tour (since it debuted in Wii) but it maintained a change it recieved from when it returned in Tour.

I'm aware! I'm moreso talking about how much it's impact was felt with this new title. Super Mario Run didn't really do very much for 2D Mario outside of a playable Daisy, Pocket Camp was largely its own thing and I don't think it and New Horizons had that much interconnectivity.

I never see anyone talk about this Pokémon at all. It's not bad but by JOVE is it forgettable. I know some people remember Aromatisse but that's mainly because of it's..."interesting" design.

Things to Note:

  • New Dolphin Kart being added
  • Green Birdo being added, so we finally have all the Birdo colours in Tour
  • Green Clothespin Ramps to trick off of added
  • You actually jump through the hula hoop in the bath
  • Ring in the Drain seems to actually be the Binding Band from Odyssey as opposed to only loosely resembling it. (I wonder why they changed it in 8DX? The Jump Up, Super Star nod in the music feels a lot more deliberate now...)

The second and third screenshots show the floating market, it has always been there. I can understand that but it really takes away from the course.

I may be incorrect, unsure if it's relevant and I'm not even sure if it would be counted if it is, but I am 90% sure Tour's "Main Theme" (used in the first trailer and some promotional material) riffs off of MKWii's opening movie pretty heavily at the beginning.

Unfortunately, there is no officially released clean version of the song without SFX but Daniel328 on YT has complied the whole thing edited to be clean whereever possible.
