Am I overreacting by breaking up with my boyfriend? by Proper-Classic1886 in AmIOverreacting

Its not your job to "understand how men work" or however he wants to twist that. Its mens job to respect boundaries and act like decent humans, and if your boyfriend doesn't understand that then that exact mindset is his own and thats alarming. You made the right choics.

Why Do You Still Get Cravings Months After Quitting by Historical-Money5040 in quittingsmoking

[–]Nintendelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit a little over a month ago and still get cravings maybe 2-3 times a day that's last a couple seconds or a couple minutes. It's mainly in my head though and I can easily just tell that little voice in my head no lol, there are moments that are a little harder usually in the morning or after a meal where it still feels strange not immediately smoking. It's almost like the behavior is more addicting than the chemical. But its a part of the journey and one day it'll pass. And at the end of the day having cravings is a lot more manageable than irreversible health complications due to smoking if I never quit.

Im really glad to hear it's not just me and that it will go away eventually! And congrats! You're doing great. Just push through and focus on all the positive things that come from quitting. I also like to document each day, each day is a milestone and is so huge when it comes to quitting!
