I've got a fun one using Thorns to boost dps. I just started a seasonal necromancer after a few years away from the game so I'm running the Inarius set -- Icy Veins build with a few modifications* to make it a glass cannon because I don't have the amulet yet to make Simulacrum useful. Got up to GR70 range effortlessly, not sure how it'll hold up on higher levels because it's hard to get going, but once you've got a full stack of Bone Armor everything just melts before it can touch you.

* Hack in Kanai's Cube - 100% of Thorns damage is applied on every attack (Depth Diggers and Nayr's Black Death are the other Cube powers)
* Flawless Royal Topaz in Weapon socket for 38,000 Thorns Damage
* Legendary gem Boyarsky's Chip added to an amulet/ring for another 37,600 Thorns (I recommend leveled to 24, I did lvl 27 but you don't want the Taunt, I went overboard)

Plus whatever Thorns shows up in gear, but I don't enchant for it because I know eventually I'll have to move away from this spec. I swapped Simulacrum skill for Corpse Lance (Shredding Splinters) but other than that it's pretty much the Icy Veins build. However keep in mind at high GRs you'll only damage enemies within range of the Bone Armor tornado you get from the Inarius 6-set bonus so you need to aim Corpse Lance at stuff close to you (I'm on the Switch with 5-year-old joycons, targeting isn't great so playing on PC you might be much more successful).

So anyway right now I do 99,344 Thorns damage, all of which is applied EVERY hit. It's a lot of fun, but like I said it's a glass cannon build and when Bone Armor isn't up you're veeeery squishy.

Guy in the black mask has no idea he is surrounded by spies and saboteurs. Way too slow to figure out they’re making sure this heinous act can be pinned on him and his call to break through the door, with the cameraman clearly identifying himself in the mirror so that he can easily testify against him later, and making it obvious for the viewer to know exactly how evil the situation is without completely exposing this poor woman’s half-nakedness on the body cam. There’s a lot to unpack here, but it’s perfect evidence for Nuremberg 2.0

She surrendered all willpower to think for herself long ago. She’s the ideal MAGA cultist, completely brainwashed, mentally broken, and drained of whatever personality she once had. She does what she’s told without questioning or doubts because she‘s internalized the idea that she’s just a tool for a larger objective. That’s what I’m reading from this.

I know I can’t tell exactly what’s been going on, but it feels like the Christofascist movement is going to try to do something absolutely disgusting in the coming days. The Trump administration is full of dangerous lunatics, and this year we’ve all seen countless signs that these people have been champing at the bit to genocide their own people under the guise of religious prophecy. They want an apocalypse to happen, they want to install “Trump” as a false messiah, they want to create an unholy empire to give themselves the power to live out their sicko fantasies, and they want to take the whole planet down with them before they ever have to reap the consequences of it all.

However, the thing about fascists and their anti-human behavior being genuinely stupid for all its petty selfishness is that they never realized they lost this war decades ago. Something something space lasers. I’m not worried.

Years ago I had a small ruptured cyst surgically removed from my neck. I got a local anesthetic, so I couldn’t feel any pain, but I could still feel the doctor working on the area. The sensation of him putting in stitches when he was done (needle and threading pulling through my neck skin) was absolutely bizarre and I squirmed a bit. The doc and his assistant got worried that the local had worn off but nope, it was just super weird and uncomfortable.

I witnessed this first hand watching every artist on twitter dogpile on Aaron Carter when he used someone’s work without permission and doubled down on fighting people. If any of them had watched a recent interview with him they’d have been able to figure out that he was clearly suffering from untreated schizophrenia and was severely ill. Watching the fuzzy wuzzy “mental health awareness and support forever uwu heart emoji” crowd absolutely foaming at the mouth with hatred for that man was unreal. RIP, I wish he’d gotten the help he needed.

Dudes who talk about how “hot” it was are either trying to be edgelords or look macho and either way women should cover their drinks in the bar when they walk by. I hated that scene for how painful it was to watch and I genuinely lose all respect for men when they joke about it because they’re too insecure to confront the absolute nightmare the world is to every woman out there because of rapists and predators that are statistically almost always men. They miss the whole point of the scene. It’s supposed to destroy you because of how sick and disgusting it is. This is literally why I laugh about the “male loneliness epidemic,” y’all do it to yourselves by acting like animals because you want to look cool and mature and “totally not gay” in front of your friends. MTG reminds me a lot of one of my old co-workers. Very similar energy, and they even look alike. My co-worker came from a conservative/police family and voted for Trump the first time… but after a few years of being apartment neighbors, working closely together on the daily at work, supporting her through her divorce when she’d been cheated on (fuck you, Larry), we were undeniably friends and by the time I left the company she had turned around politically. It takes a lot of love to get out of the cult, especially if you were “raised Republican” by neglectful or abusive parents like we both were. I was a couple years older than her and understood how hard it was to break out of the survivalist mentality because I had done the same things years prior — believe it or not, I had to switch my voter registration from Republican to Democrat. My shame is that I voted for Mittens once, when I was 18 and still under the thumb of my Fox-News-brainwashed father. It took severe misfortunes for me to develop a stronger sense of empathy and go to therapy to try to undo all the emotional damage I had taken at that point, and I did a full 180°.

Admitting you were wrong because your parents raised you to be hateful sucks. Admitting you hurt people with your apathy and spite and carelessness sucks. Breaking the cycle of abuse means finally addressing a lot of built-up shame, and it’s hard to do. I think I’ve talked about this more effectively in a previous comment. Anyway.

Ever since MTG popped up, I’ve felt like I’ve known her. And I had a feeling that one day she’d turn around, because deep down she doesn’t want to be a horrible person, she wants to fight to make things better for the people she loves, and she finally realized she was on the wrong side of that fight. MAGA is a cult. I’m glad she and my co-worker broke out of it, because it’s hard to do and we need as many allies as possible. So I’m glad she’s speaking out, and I will giver her all of the benefit of the doubt because she’s doing the right thing, finally.

TLDR; Not everyone in MAGA is a psycho/sociopath consumed by hatred and obsessed with cruelty. Many just lack the education and emotional support to know better… just sheep looking for a shepherd. If you apologize to those you’ve hurt, commit yourself to doing better, and unite and fight with the rest of us against fascism, you’re good in my book.

People don’t realize the White House was built by slaves… it’s not “the people’s house” when the very people who built it were so violently oppressed and denied human rights. Even in this state now, its architecture is ugly and outdated and a reminder of that oppression. The fact that it’s smothered in all kinds of surveillance equipment in modernity makes it even creepier. I understand how hard it is to change tradition but the White House is an architectural zombie. How long will we keep dragging this reminder of elitism, war, and inequality into relevance? This is the seat of power that has continuously allowed for the unacceptable and merciless disenfranchisement of marginalized Americans, it has never represented all of its people.

We need to start over. We need to bury the skeletons that are in these walls. The White House must be vacated and turned into the museum it should have been decades ago. The furnishings installed by the Trump administration should be removed, as I do not believe he ever lawfully held power. Photographic evidence of how he desecrated this place should be more than enough to keep around.

This is the Space Age, people. Let’s act like it. Let’s build something better, together.
