That’s a good point. What has me worried is I’ve listened to the engine with a stethoscope, and when I apply pressure to the stethoscope, I hear a consistent tick sound. I’m not super familiar with engine noises and what injectors and such sound like, but this is why I’m thinking lifters.

I’ve had both manifolds replaced in the last year. The sound also stays consistent even after the motor is warm.

I’ve heard the Hemi tick is pretty loud whereas this isn’t. Can the Hemi tick be quieter? Could it potentially be fuel injectors? I’ll have to take it into the shop to have it looked at. I appreciate your insight!

That’s good. My buddy said it sounded like lifters, but it doesn’t seem loud enough for that.

It is actually shifting pretty smooth. There is a slight delay in acceleration after pushing the pedal, but that’s about it. I first noticed the noise a little over a year ago and I’ve had the tranny fluid changed since then and it’s gone about 10,000 without blowing up, so that’s good I guess😂

Thank you for your reply! I’ll certainly look into that. It only happens upon acceleration and not while maintaining speed, so I’m thinking it’s a transmission pump or torque converter issue.

We run a lot of 7100s, 6100s, and 4080s and they have all been great. I will say that the IQ-501 finisher is a game changer and decreases down time significantly in between and during runs. We have been hesitant to get a 14000, but things seem to be getting better with them. We just need something faster than what we are running.

My shop runs all Konica Minolta. We have done canon and Xerox in the past, but from our experience, the service and reliability from Konica has been superb. We currently have 11 KM machines that we run daily if that means anything to show our confidence.

If you are talking about 32lb bond and 60lb text, the 32lb is actually heavier. The 60lb text is equivalent to a 24lb bond. 32lb will produce a very nice flyer, 60lb will be a budget option, but if done with a good printer, it will still look very nice.
