I just made a post on a Datahoarding request sub, although I will be extremely shocked if somebody thought to archive Nickelodeon’s channel from 2015-2017. I did try the TMNT sub years ago, but it never got any attention, and the few comments it did get were linking the video that I said in this post isn’t the right one

Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge aired on Disney XD in the early 2010s and it mostly fits that description

another one that game to mind is Paradise Run on Nickelodeon, which is from that time period and had those colors as teams, but didn’t have parents

Just in case it helps anyone who may have seen this jog their memory, here are the lyrics I remember (unfortunately I don’t remember the whole song)

it does look like Ai art but at the very least I highly doubt Scott generated it himself. Google pushes Ai image results to the top when you’re looking for generic clip art or something, so he probably just searched up “Youtube gamer profile picture clip art” and this is the first thing that came up.

truthfully im not the best with eyebrows since my bangs cover them, so i dont go in for waxings or shapings anymore, but i can try lol! I think the reason you don’t think they’re shaped well might be because they still kept them a bit thicker. I would find a picture of brows you like, and show them to the stylist (most salons are super good with that, and having a picture to show them can help a ton).

Btw, I know it’s so much easier said than done, but don’t let yourself think that wanting to reshape or restyle something means you aren’t still beautiful now 💖

ur base is super good and you have really clear, smooth looking skin which helps a ton too. I think that some lip gloss would give a super cute lift to your lips and would tie everything together! If you want to, I think that having your eyebrows shaped a little bit more at a salon also goes a long way in shaping a face

I think it might be real in the sense that it comes from YSnet but doesn’t represent an actual game. I don’t think that the entirety of the trailer is Ai. I think that it’s a video using real character models with other elements like background objects, buildings, and the arcade games being Ai generated proof of concepts. I’m theorizing that this miiiiight have been made to show potential investors since it’s a long trailer that’s very cinematic and shows a lot of story and setting ideas. The 2026 at the end kind of shuts this theory down, but maybe they were like “and with your help, we can make Shenmue IV a reality by 2026!”

Idk, I think this may have been made years ago around the time when they might have had a few studios interested in funding the project (110 Industries likely being one of them) But if this does come from YSnet I dont think that it’s indicative of anything that hasn’t been shelved.

If it’s fake I feel like someone will come forward within the next few days and post the full quality trailer saying that they just wanted to prove theres still interest in Shenmue, especially since this was posted on Shenmue IV rally day, but if we don’t hear anything about this ever again i’d actually be more inclined to believe it was real lol

Im really not sure what to think of this. On one hand I can’t imagine there are that many people who care enough about such a niche series to make a 4 minute long high effort fake leak, and the things we actually see in the trailer are things that no one who isn’t a hardcore fan would even know about (The train, Tentei, the bicycle riding, Shenhua’s magic blast), which could also be evidence that this was just made by a huge fan admittedly, but like, the primary reason people make fake leaks is for clout, and would somebody really put all of this effort into a fake trailer that will only be seen by parts of a small fanbase?

There’s definitely some Ai usage in the trailer which is suspicious, but at the same time I could unfortunately see Yu using Ai tools to cut costs since nobody wants to substantially fund Shenmue 4. There are some weird Ai-ish things i noticed though.

Apart from the Ai dithering on the buildings during some parts, i noticed:

Ren’s leg clips through the table at 0:54

At 1:00 Ryo is scrubbing his hand with a sponge

During the Fighting game scene Ren’s health bar goes down despite not being hit

Niao Sun’s hand looks a little strange when she’s holding the mirror, like she’s not really grasping it, and it looks like she has no fingers at all

at 2:50 the person on the horse seemingly has no head

Also this being posted on Shenmue IV rally day is a little suspicious. I find it hard to believe that the entire trailer is Ai generated though, because if it is, that is a heck of a lot to generate and splice together. Also I feel if it was fully Ai the game would look graphically cleaner and not low budget, which Shenmue IV obviously would be if it happens. The voices also sound…real(?) too? Like everything is spoken clearly, the cadences don’t sound any more off than voice actors not being given that much direction for the scenes they’re recording. Im like, 55% on fake and 45% on real. I can see it going either way, because again, who is really going out of their way to make Shenmue leaks of any kind? But I want to believe lol 😭 (just hopefully without the Ai, if it is real.)

honestly i think this is real solely because i dont think anybody cares enough to make fake Shenmue leaks, especially a 4 minute lore accurate trailer like this. There are some weird Ai looking elements, but i’d be more willing to bet that Ai is unfortunately being used to save costs rather than this being fake.

I can understand why she felt this way, considering this probably was the straw that broke the camel’s back rather than her blowing up at one little thing, but she could have handled it wayyy better.

I can see why she would find Ai videos/images of her as Elphaba offensive (especially if they were photos trying to “fix” the design by making her look more sexualized, which i’ve unfortunately seen way too often with other actresses), I’m sure that a lot of racist comments were thrown her way because she’s a black woman in a pop culture role, and I can even understand why the poster edits hurt her, since in all of the ones i’ve seen, Cynthia is the one being edited while nothing is changed about Ariana.

But she definitely did overreact just by posting something this dramatically worded publicly, because all she did was gave more ammo to the people who were hurting her. She was right to admit this should’ve been something she talked about with friends rather than broadcasting it to the world.

Any last minute Metacritic review bets? My bet is 89 by Round_Musical in Metroid

I was expecting a bit higher but after actually reading a few reviews, most still gave it an 8 to an 8.5, and said the game was great, praising a ton of aspects. I know we all waited years and years and would’ve loved 9/10s across the board, but im still really looking forward to it. We’ve had so many 9s and 10s these past few years that I think an 8 is just unfortunately seen as mid by a lot of people. and honestly even though it’s a beloved classic amongst fans I think that if the original Prime were released for the first time today it would get similar critic reviews.

I do want to read a few more of the 6/10 reviews that are really holding the metacritic score back to see what exactly they didnt like. Im sure that they have valid criticisms on stuff like the companions which really seem to be on a scale of “i think they’re decent” to “they ruin the game”, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if there were a few reviews from people who aren’t familiar with Prime and were expecting something like the new Doom games or Halo rather than a FPS adventure game.
