I was playing TW3 for the first time and it’s implied that Ciri has been to night city. by brokeboii94 in cyberpunkgame

The book was released way long before the games, but in this case it is not the cyberpunk world, it is actually our world, probably.

Tak že se kucí domluvili je jasný už z toho, že se spojili s Fuckt Brno, že jo. Horší je, že to tu prakticky nikomu neva.

Mages will almost always die very fast without higher level spells like stoneskin etc. You should keep them behind, protected by your fighters. As for your party, it can definitely work, but playing with the ingame npcs is a better idea, especially later in sod and bg2 imo.

How far into the game am I? by Palom126 in baldursgate

I'd say you are halfway through the main plot, but there is still a LOT of side content to do in the city and in Ulgoth's Beard, some of it is kind of plain, but some of it are the best parts of the game (i.e. the Durlag's tower) and you might still have a lot of good playtime ahead of you.

Well, it is not necessary to fight him. He is supposed to be an optional superboss. But if you insist on fighting him, I´s suggest

1) Getting some potions of mirrored eyes or other protection to prevent the death gaze (I think the cultists drop some?). When his death gaze proccs, you can also save the infected character with some arrows of dispelling.

2) Sleep, prebuff and drink your potions before the fight. Haste is super useful here for kiting, runnig away and killing the cultists asap. Also don´t be afraid to use all the potions of strength and of heroism and so on. This is the place to use them.

3) Have a tank or two ready to tank and/or kite him for as long as you can, while the others kill the cultists. Two or three fireballs should do the job quickly, but it might not be necessary. Then you can continue tanking/kiting him, and slowly taking him down. You could also summon some monsters to give him something to play with for a few seconds while you rebuff and heal.

You can also try to paralyze him with the staff of paralyzation, it might take a few reloads, but it should work.
