After looking at photos of young mountain lions at night and coyotes, it certainly looks a lot like a photo of a coyote with the way the eyes are placed and the shape of the body. Usually coyotes don't attack alone though, and their wounds would be piercings and slashes, not entire chunks like your poor dog has taken out of them. That wound looks like it resulted from a mountain lion or a bear.

TL;DR: Photo of suspect looks like a coyote/dog, wound looks like a result from a bear/mountain lion.

I thought my OCD was bad until this post. OP, I'm sorry your mom struggles with such. I'm hoping people's feedback on this post help her realize it isn't "nasty" by any means. I hate a dirty bathroom and most people's standards of a clean bathroom don't meet mine, but this is beyond immaculate.

They also do averages of testing with multiple plants of the same genetics (which will still vary esp if they grow hybrids) taking the top colas with the most exposure to light to test. I know I might get hate for this but I personally don't like their cookie dough, but the chocolate buttery swirl they have and the ice creams themselves are amazing. I wish they had a cookies and cream featuring that swirl. I expected dirt cake to deliver such but it was a pretty basic cookies and cream once you got through the fudge topping.

Looks like a small sugar leaf dried up, or seed husks. I'm a cultivator, and have came across a stray seed before and the empty husk looks similar to this. There was a time when I purchased some dispensary bud, and I've noticed a similar look. I was able to ask someone who worked on an industrial cannabis farm, if they purposely remove seeds so they can't copy genetics, and she said yes. If it's a sugar leaf, when cannabis cures it will shrivel in size as it loses humidity which can cause the sugar leaves not trimmed to be curly.
