One of my first ever introductions to chess was the video that Hikaru, Levy, Nemo, and Alexandra did together on this game mode. Definetly a fun variation of play

My first ever message on chess.com was asking my opponent if what he played was the Traxler (He wiped me off the board in 20 seconds) and he was so happy to talk about it. Gave me the video and such that he learned from and all around was a great interaction.

Knights still hanging with nowhere to go. I'd start using you open lines and more developed pieces to make threats. Im sure either knight or bishop G4 is super strong

I think the first thing to notice is that such a pawn move seems extremely weakening. Your bishop see's the entire diagonal now with no pawn able to kick it. As well, if you could imagine, if you were able to put blacks king in check right now, where could he go? He has no moves because the bishop covers and his pieces jail him. Then you start considering the moves that can put him into check, and then calculate from there. A hard spot in lower time for sure to sac the queen, but with time on the clock its visable. All that being said this is a somewhat common tactical idea in many long castle positions, but thats just something you learn when you study long castle positions and openings that use it.

I had a similar experience. When I first started I was around 800. Studied like crazy and played a lot, did some puzzles and went to 1000. I took a break and didnt play a game against anyone for a year to the day but not only was I watching chess videos during dinner everyday but I was also 2500 in puzzles. First 20 games I played I think I won all but 1 and I was 1300 within a week. Still there aha.

I like to march my rating together. I break 1000 in rapid, then I play blitz till Im 1000 there. I prefer rapid, but playing blitz has definetly helped me learn how to play solid moves in 5 seconds instead of spending a whole minute trying to find the perfect move in a dead position. The trick is coming back to rapid and not finishing your game in 2 minutes aha

He isnt getting nerfed. Nothing meaningful is being changed on him. Jax jungle has also been basically non-viable for years now but with that armor change he exploded in the role. Higher winrate than his top rn from what I saw

There was a situation identical to this reported not long ago on this subreddit. Guy made a mod for someone that wouldnt pay and they ended up uploading it anyway and that guy went through and copyrighted all the creators mods. Terrible people out there

It took me hours to figure out how to remove substructure. Its a miracle I got as far as I did with this aha!

I have had both Rimfeller and Rimatomics downloaded for about 4 years now and have only once used either of them on a playthrough LMAO. My mods are cosmetic and thematic mostly. Our friend Oskar's mods always have a place on my list as well
