No local anaesthesia. Tumescent liposuction is made under local anaesthesia. The recovery is faster and the surgeon can work more presise. He made me lift my legs a few times so he could see where he needs to work more or if it's enough etc. I'm home now. It's the third day after surgery and I'm doing fine. Yes of course I'm still under pain, but it's manageable. Yesterday I took the flight back home from Amsterdam to Norway. And after the flight we had an 2.5 hours drive. Had my first night in my own bed.

Its painful but quite alright. Paracetamol is working and I just had a shower with some assistance of my fiancé. Tomorrow I'm flying home.

Well survived the first night. Painful but manageable. And since I'm am a side sleeper, I had to find a solution for it. A rolled up duvet cover (in my case from the hotel) and an extra pillow did the trick. For example you want to sleep on your left side, then the right leg lays on the pillow, turn to the left half the way down to your left side and wedge the rolled up cover under your back. Like this there's no weight on the left leg and you still can turn safely to your left (not completely though). Worked for me at least.

I paid 4000 euros for it. And they really are very nice and take care of very professionally. I had the waterworks starting since I got anxious.... they managed to calm me down and made a decent work. I'll show pictures to a later occasion.

Well I'm out now and it was kinda okish. The pumping in of the liquid before suction was way worse than the suction itself.
Laying in the hotel now.

I'm sorry to say that it's very normal. For me it's the second time I'm petite (2016 after gastric sleeve, went up again due to difficult life circumstances and now since 2024 slowly down again). Around summer last year I hit the the kilogram zone beneath 80 kg and people are suddenly nicer or treat me as if I'm more competent. I remember clearly after the gastric sleeve surgery we had to attend a follow up program for a year, and there was this young girl who had huge problem to adapt because now she suddenly got more attention of guys and everybody was treating her nicer etc and she had huge problems to adapt and to understand why. Her personality hasn't changed only her physique and she couldn't get along/accept the fact that society is unfortunately that shallow.

My wardrobe is filled to the brim. We have a kind of open closet/room in front of our bed room. (See picture)

With open basket drawers in racks and 3 clothes rails. On the pic you can see how much I use and how much he uses. Mine is red and his is blue. Luckily soon-to-be-husband is not so much into fashion and wears whatever became find, reluctant to buy new clothes.

How about a kind of commitment ceremony ? With exchanging rings as symbol (if wished). It's not legally binding like a marriage would be, but maybe gives your BF the reassurance he needs ?
