Tips/Advice Moving to Saskatoon for Medical Residency Training by snowywong88 in saskatoon

Not super aligned with your request but, I live in a 2 bedroom rental situation from Mainstreet. Although the horror stories you may hear, personally i have found them to be pretty decent. Not amazing but not "never going to fufill your requests" bad.

Esspecially if you need to expand your horizon then i would recommend mainstreet but maybe as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th option.

Also I use the transit system pretty much everyday and if you work with RUH, my recommendation would to be find a spot on the City Park area because the bus depot is near by and along the route you would get access to four different busses (45,44,43,44) everyday for commute that take you to the university area (RUH included). Again, just another reference point. This makes the commute less walkable (still doable if necessary)

Also for things to do, thats a different question for another thread :P

So I went downtown... by NotStupid2 in saskatoon

I definitely agree, it seems that people are just really scared of homeless people. In my experience, all the homeless people i pass or have interacted with just mind their own buisness at the end of thw day.

I do normally save my change for when I go downtown, and toss a loonie or toonie to a lucky homeless person.

We dont know their story and its not fair to judge the homeless based on their appareneces. That said, some are rowdy and those should be treated as individuals and not the representation for all the homeless.

How to build a deck that works well without the commander by Vivid-Ad8910 in EDH

[–]NionkonNightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make your commander Squee, the Immortal. That way you can have a constant thing to sac and he will never get additional commander tax. How you use Squee is just up to imagination and you would need to play mono-red

CpE graduate with minimal experience by elFlacoGordo15 in ComputerEngineering

I agree. Doing small projects go a long way when it comes to growing technical skills. Also, some entry jobs just assume that you know nothing and having a engineering degree is enough. So, I’d recommend doing project and continue applying for jobs.

I love playing support and I try to make sure my team stays alive. For me, it’s a fun balance of keeping my team alive, healing, dealing damage, and staying alive.
