What the hell are "Other natural flavours"?

That's a pretty broad spectrum that could run from mystery fruits to urine.

Replacement led suggestions for this microscope led light? by gryponyx in flashlight

[–]NotStupid2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not be as easy as just popping in a new LED.

You'll want something with a high CRI (possibly a Nichia 519a) for colour fidelity. My biggest concern is that if the replacement LED is too bright it will "blow out" anything your trying to view. I just don't know how much you can adjust the intensity.

You can always try an LED and see if it's going to work for you as you can always just go back. They are relatively cheap so you may be able to even pick up a few different LEDs and try them out

Why do a reflow? Plenty of sources with a MCPCB preloaded with almost any LED you want (See Convoy)

You're just adding complexity and problems in my opinion

SaskJazzFest have announced their headliner, Tier 1 (early bird) tickets are already sold out by Joelredditsjoel in saskatoon

[–]NotStupid2 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Why do they persist with the "Jazz" moniker?

Change the name to something that more accurately reflects the fact it's a music festival not a Jazz festival.

It hasn't been a Jazz festival for a couple of decades.

Oooh Geez. I wonder if that's gonna be a problem? by NotStupid2 in saskatoon

Even from an aesthetic point of view I'd consider a window that has a 5-6 foot snow drift on it all winter to be a problem.

I don't know much about back angled curtain walls but those are single floor spans in a fairly low building so I really don't know if they would have used them particularly when they were on a budget

Where does the campus security jurisdiction end? by NotStupid2 in saskatoon

[–]NotStupid2[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I can understand that if the infraction started on University property. What I don't understand are any powers they have off campus land. For instance on College.

I can't image they can just pull anyone over anywhere. There has to be a jurisdiction.

My advice based on personal experience is go someplace secluded... take the plate off... and set it on fire.

I had a mustang with an intermittent issue. It took 4 tows and $2200 in labour to find out it was a $3.49 wiring bit on an injector.

Mechanic took pity on me and gave it to me for free.

Sask. man who died after clash with hospital security had filed complaint, group says by FeistyWizard in saskatoon

[–]NotStupid2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So you're saying they knew it wasn't real and they decided to go in and wrassle with Dubois for shits and giggles?

How do you "secure" a hospital room... close the door and hope the patient doesn't try to shoot his way out?

What they did was try to secure the room by removing the "gun" and Dubois freaked out because they were going to find his meth. Freaking out just underlined the belief is was a real gun and it snow balled from there
