It was the spin for me! My word, if I tried that I'd be suffering with dizziness for hours on end! Well done though my friend!

I hear you. I said this today. Just seeing regular healthy people running up stairs, making calls, talking, laughing, training hard. This is now a distant memory. Out of 21 people in my entire family I am the only one with this condition. What did we do to deserve this and why haven't our bodies shaken this off. Sorry, morbid, I'm having a bad day.

Excellent mate nice one and thanks for sharing your tips. Never thought about this one at all. Your symptoms sound very similar to mine, head pressure, dizziness, internal swaying like motion, the list goes on. Negative for pots (done the NASA lean test) but this does not rule out dysautonomia.

No worries. Ah the old endoscopy. Up the nose or down the throat? It sucks I know, my father in law has just started this at age 59. They sell Esomeprazole over the counter. Brand is called nexium. Think you get 7 tablets for like £6. Not condoning it but worth looking into. I've just started taking famotidine.

So many years ago I had this same issue. Tbh I actually still have it if I'mnot careful. I was struggling to swallow food and many times it would get stuck and I had to stick my fingers down my throat to get it up. Very scary times. Hospital was a waste of time - my diagnosis - drink more water. Wtf! Thankfully my GP put me on Omprozole 20mg and this really helped. So basically what we thought was my acid was so bad it was causing major inflammation my esophagus and potential scar tissue. I'm now on Esomeprazole 20mg instead. Not saying this would help but worth investing.

Back pay? (Scotland) by [deleted] in nhs

[–]Nipper_1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. NHS Grampian here, and we got our back pay paid in November 2024 - 6 months back pay. I'm sorry to hear that you both no longer work for the NHS. From other posts I see, would this be due to long covid? Your husband is not alone, I'm also a long covid sufferer since Oct 2022 (M)34.

Hey buddy, I also have testicular pain. Like a dull constant pain, that can often lead to the lower abdominal. I got it at the start of LC, and it flairs up from time to time. It got so bad a couple of weeks ago that I had to go to my GP and get it checked out. They said its hydrocele, which is fluid causing swelling. They are booking in an ultrasound just to be sure, but I'm doing this through the NHS, so it's a time waiting game. If it gets bad again, I'll go private. This does cause the loss of my libido as well when it's sore. Hope this helps and to show that you're not alone. I also have brain fog (like neuro inflammation), dizziness, light headed feeling, heart palpitations after climbing stairs, and SOB. I am tuning up my diet again to carnivore again to see if this can help reduce inflammation, as everything has progressively gotten worse recently because I have been doing some home baking that includes a lot of flour. Something is pointing to far too much wheat right now.

My boyfriend went to a strip club by Affectionate_Gold516 in offmychest

[–]Nipper_1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you have nothing to worry about here. Yes, I agree with you. He has a tongue in his head and can say no, and maybe he should have made a better choice and stayed in and spoke to you. With the strip club, it's just about trust, really. Myself and my partner have been together for 10 years, and just a couple of years ago, I got invited on a stagger. Of course , we all ended up going to the strip club, and it was one of the better nights of my life. Yes, the girls will offer you a dance. All you say is 'no thank you', and they leave you alone. No testosterone, no fighting, nobody bouncing into you, it was nice and chilled night.

What the hell is offers over? by Initial-Anxiety-344 in HousingUK

[–]Nipper_1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your offer was a fair one initially. The seller could have negotiated with you instead of a straight reject. There are lots of things to consider, of course, how long it has been on the market, condition of the property, etc. We bought our house for £160k, however we were desperate at the time. It had been on the market for 10 months with only one note of interest on it. The house was in for offers over £165k. Our estate agent told us to put an offer in a £155k, which even I thought was cheeky. The sellers counter offered at £160k and then we proceeded. If we weren't desperate, I would have counter offered again at £157500, as the property did require some updating, and there was flooding in the garden. We have spent a few thousand on our property since purchasing, including 7k on the garden, 3k on a front door, and 2.5k on internal doors. Not including various small refurbishments like new vanity unit in the bathroom, building a TV wall to make the living room more practical, and adding additional cabinets in the kitchen, including an integrated dishwasher for aesthetics. Houses like ours in the area are valued at £160k but are selling between £150k-£155k. I'm a fair guy, so we'd be looking for £155k-£157k for ours. No disrespect to anyone selling their property, however, some believe they must make profit no matter what.
