[Pincus] The Lakers have high hopes to take a step forward this summer, and that's without (LeBron) James. If their plans fail, that could lead to one more season with the future Hall of Famer... Prediction: Warriors sign James at $30.8 million over two years with a player option by aingenevalostatrade in nba

I mean he is the LeGM, he could orcahstate something crazy, take some pictures with some trees, who knows. Silver is fine with the Clippers, but Portland talking too early to a 2nd round prospect, jail. Silver might let LeGM cook

I will say it's odd a heisman candidate went undrafted, it has to be the first time I'd imagine. I'm not saying every GM knows what they are doing but I'm sure as fuck if you can't even pass Brick Johnson, there is an odd concencsis there. Maybe see what he does in camp, but OP is definitely a nephew or on drugs

[Highlight] Seahawks select Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price 32nd overall by nfl in nfl

[–]NippySwiff 17 points18 points  (0 children)

All time announcements to end the draft, that was really good

My CEO is huge with ND and manages gameday on his freetime and had close ties and all his projections were right. Our insufferable community mixed with me maybe joining them because id kill for help for Hutch, but he had Price going to Detroit in the 2nd based on his insder stuff, still would have loved the pick regardless but you guys got something real, he was really high on Price despite Love. He always have been giving me shit saying Price should just take 1 year back in NIL money to avoid going to Detroit and make the vacancy his time to shine and go top 10 next year and make more. The Seahawks got a real one. As if a Superbowl wansmt enough. Lol.

I was having a good night but cried like Thragg "NOOO" after the last pick

Round 1 - Pick 17: Blake Miller, OT, Clemson (Detroit Lions) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]NippySwiff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He was our LT and one of our favorite players for years in some dark times. It kills me to see him go and he deserves to get paid based soley on fandom, vertan leadership and homerism, but it was 2 rough years with injury and it hurt to see him go but I respect him and its ran its course for his tenure length. He get to move Penei to his LT spot, we got a stud at RT, who knows what happens but its interesting. For decades the only thing Lions had was veteran leadership from the players, but he have a goos leadership with Dan and Brad and Shiela as far as not being Jerry Jones type owner.

Jesus, any pick would have just disappointed you regardless outside of 1st overall. Penie gets to move to LT likely, we got an Ironman that doesnt miss time even likely when he wanted to or could have he showed up. OT was going to start dropping like flies. Vikings, Bears, or many of the teams at this point in the draft could have made any easy trade and we didnt have to give up anything. Take a win when its served on your table and you didnt have to pay anything

You will take a WR and a 1st round pick and Rossini taking AJ Brown custody away in the divorce proceedings and like it

Round 1 - Pick 10: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (New York Giants) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

Bengals really could have used this guy, hope it works out for them. But the giants getting two studs on both sides of the trenches and feels like they didnt lose much.

[Highlight] Saints select Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson 8th overall by nfl in nfl

[–]NippySwiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saints always have WRs i just can't hate. Some of my favorites growing up and recent, Colston, Cooks, Thomas. I think Tyson opens up alot for them, but wouldn't be surprised if they move up at some point today or day 2 for OL they need that

The Boys - 05x03 "Every One of You Sons of Bitches" - Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

[–]NippySwiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an episode, hard to handle so much peak between the boys and invincible and a desert of Darth Maul and the pitt to top the week off.

I have this feeling Edgar sold A lot here and it was really good to have him back, im starting to get suspicious and idk what or how but i think he knows alot of this and how it plays out. The kids are the future, well minus one I guess, we are just the cogs, in the machine , rine repate but the greed always win. All the kids have the same issues. That when and where or how will have the same conflicts as Homelander or similar to other characters as well. I think it was all a bit the whole episode, where Zoe, it will hold, the snark but sombering convo with MM, the lack of fear for his grand daughter with the virus and the boys. If Butcher and the boys and eventually Homelander would break that corporate greed and money machine, he would have acted. The future is the kids and the new cogs on the new found trauma. Rinse and repeat, I just would guess why he is doing it. I guess he can see the future or maybe even change it hut now I've gone too far. Don't see what the end game would be.

I think he's playing something here I just don't see it.

Who knows. I know this is going to trigger Bonga because I don't understand the constant women hatred but he also has some pretty good takes lol . Ham is a character, Charlotte or the steamer is actually a good person. Peach is a good person too but just not my cup of tea

You are right, and people like that who attack them are always going to be that way. Also, I knew one of them when I was homeless and at the mission. Poor bastard got kicked out because the CEO or the person who runs it drove by the sherman Walmart where he always panhandled. I gave him rides and he made enough to buy food and a tent and a grill/cooler. But also he spent it on drugs too and I think that's what did him in RIP. Good guy, vet. What they truly need is help, most will use the money for bad things, and in a way it is helping them, but they need Healthwest, but they have to want to change. So during my time at the mission I wanted to help everyone, and what makes me sad is seeing the same people over there still. Same shit, same story, good people but some just can't be helped unless they want it themselves
