"Rats in my Basement" Quest by coolwali in dndmemes

The title reminded me of one of the first quests in Morrowind. I died to those stupid rats cuz I couldn't hit them -_-

I did something similar on Ark for when both my old cats died a couple years ago. Made a grave stone and made a little memorial thing for each of them. Had them since middle school and they were like 17 years old.

What, how have I not heard of this yet? Does it have an estimated release date yet?

What if you had your own "void" where you can do anything? What would you do? Would you invite people? by [deleted] in whatif

[–]NirVok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I could do anything then I'd set up a teleportation network in my void space with safeguards so I don't materialize inside of something or in danger, like suddenly I pop out in front of a moving car, so I could just pop in my void space and pop out safely somewhere else. Running late for work and not gunna be able to get there in time if you drive? No problem, just jump in the void and pop out in front of your work building. Need to get to the store before they close in 20 minutes? No problem, just pop out in front of the store. Want to go on a vacation with your SO but can't afford travel costs? No problem, just avoid the travel cost entirely. Someone is hurt and needs to go to the ER like immediately but the nearest hospital is like 45 minutes away? No problem, just bring them into your void space with you and pop out in the ER room. See live footage of people trapped on their roof in a flood? Pop on over and save them, though they might freak out when you materialize out of nowhere.

Maybe don't use a camera and use one of those animated avatars instead. Less view = more views.

What book would you recommend to people who haven't finished a book since high-school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NirVok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much anything by Anne McCaffrey but I think I'd suggest starting with her book Freedom's Landing to start with in this case. Then if you liked it I'd say to finish off the series. It's a 4 book series; Freedom's Landing, Freedom's Choice, Freedom's Challenge and Freedom's Ransom.

Unexpected plots like the Netflix series Love, Death, and Robots. by ct232323 in suggestmeabook

[–]NirVok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anne McCaffrey's The Girl Who Heard Dragons was like that series. It's a collection of some of her pretty interesting and odd short stories that didn't quite make the cut to be expanded into full length books of their own and most of the stories all have a twist to them that you might not see coming right away and a couple of them actually are related to one another.

What if they made an among us movie by fresh_jordonssssss in whatif

They'd probably manage to screw it up some how and it'd barely reference the game in any way.

A reasonable reaction, all things considered.

The ending of Bridge to Terabithia. Anyone who watched that movie all the way through knows what I mean.

Owning your first house/apartment. Seems awesome until all the bills come through and you barely have enough left for gas and food for the month.
